- Here's a root over rock development of a portulacaria afra bonsai I created in 2 years. This was my first root over rock I attempted and it turned out very nice. Enjoy!

Your tree looks like one of those tripods from War of the Worlds. I love it! lol :D
Lol!!! True!
@@LittleJadeBonsai I too have a root over rock Portulacaria in my collection. It’s a small upright over rock. I plan on doing another one, but semi-cascade like yours. I’ve also been considering doing a root over rock with a ficus too.
Your collection is wonderful. Now, do you only have Dwarf Jades or do you also have other species in your collection too?
@@LittleJadeBonsai btw, I am curious to learn the process you took to get such a wonderful exposed root prior to placing it over the rock. I want to develop exposed roots for some of my own portulacarias.
G day sir thanks for sharing full support sending back #bonsai technique
good work mate!
Я в восхищении. Ваши работы вдохновляют.
Awesome! When you turn a plant, Always turn it counter clockwise! Will grow even better!
Thanks for the tip!
Amazing looking! Thank you for all the inspiration! I will definitely be doing more with my Jade now ☺️
🌳 …and that’s how to survive and thrive despite adversity.
Awesome 👌🏻👌🏻
Amazing! 👍😁
Thank you!!!
awesome!
This is stunning. I've been growing a Crassula ovata minima cutting over a rock buried in the soil I a tiny and tight pot in the hopes of doing a seki joju with it. Waiting a couple of weeks for soil to dry out so I can check it's root structure and maybe upgrade it onto a larger rock in a larger pot if the roots have developed enough :)
Nice man
😍😍😍😍 i love it
Amaing job, looks wonderful :)
Could you make a video about how you care for your jade trees?
I mean watering, pruning, substrate, fertilization, wintering, stages of development of trees throughout the year.
Me encanta 👍
Oh wow!!
@little jade bonsai Its rocking 🌳
Awesome
Cool !
you are the best
I love your videos. Is there any chance you'd do a video for how you care for yours? Watering, fertilizing. Defoliation. My jades aren't doing so great and I need a video that give me all the info I need for growing portulacaria afra bonsai because I can't find anything good out on UA-cam for advice.
I have a video on defoliation but working on a fertilizer video. Be sure to watch all my videos because there's lots of great info in them.
@@LittleJadeBonsai agreed lol. I've actually watched every one of your videos multiple times.
Wow! 🤩
ต้นไม้สวยมากๆ
Amezing 💚💛💜💙
Looks like rock and cascade
Greetings from the UK . Yet another great video , thank you for posting ... I’m sure you get asked this a million times , but I have a Portulacaria Arfa that I have had gifted to me ... I’m new to bonsai , and I really would like some advice on how to bring the tree on so that it takes on some of the qualities of your trees. Is there anyway I can send you a picture/s and get some advice of an expert ? Fingers crossed :)
👍👍👍
I m not a fan of “root over rock “ but this one WOW
Thank you!!!
Wow! Super nice! Please when we propagate by cuttings do we have to seal the main plant and the cutting with cut-paste products? Do you use any fungicide? Thank you! Loving your channel!
Hi
Sorry to disturb you
How old was the tree before doing this?
And
Do you leave parts of the roots inside the substrat ? Not just touching the substrat?!!
If you can explain more
Or show us one day the exact work step by step ☺️
I've been trying to find out if the spindly little roots can't actually get thicker and that answered my question. Thank you! Did you add the moss to the rock or did that just happen?
Great! The rock actually had moss on it when I found it. It dried up in the heat so I added more.
wow winter is coming are you going to shift your trees indoors
What soil mix and how often do you fertilize?
wow
