This was the recipe I was looking for. I've made similar years ago, but needed a refresher. If I add any noodles, i fix them separately and add them into portions, so they don't get mushy when refrigerated, i make a big batch of this stock soup. Delicious!
I wanted to pop in and say thank you for the video!. I went off of this recipe and added a few little things I liked from my grandmothers turkey soup and it just worked out so amazing, it was my first go of it and it really turned. Out me and my daughter even made a fresh bread to go with it. Thanks again Ry.
I cook mine the same except I cook egg noodles separate with butter on them then put them in my bowl and ladle soup on top that way the noodles dont get mushy.
A great video interesting sure your good lady is proud of you enjoying your superb cooking. (going to pass on Turkey ice cream)🤫 Oh and background music music very good too.
I was looking for turkey soup recipes to cook, i was going to cook a betty crocker one, then came upon yours and did it! And came out amazing!! Thank you so much. I am now one of your followers!! God bless you.
Huge pot of soup. Looks great, how do you keep the egg noodles from going to a disgusting mush after a day in the fridge? There has to be a better noodle. Or rice? Barley? What about it? Any suggestions?
RY.. Thank you for this wonderful recipe. The wife and I just finished making this Turkey soup and it turned out amazing. I had 2 carcasses and it made a lot lol.. Thx for sharing.
Looks like a twin to my "turkey frame soup" which I got out of the "Better Home and Garden" cook book YEARS ago. I modified the recipe with a jar of Ragu to replace the tomato sauce and spice's. KISS always work's best. A Blessed Thanksgiving to you and your family and subscriber's. "keep the faith people, and keep on keeping on"
Well my friend I think it is fair to say you have covered Turkey from soup to nuts over the last couple of weeks. Nice job🦃. BTW there is a restaurant near San Luis Obispo called McLintocks which is famous (infamous) for their appetizer... Fried Turkey Nuts. Might want to add that to your repertoire 😉
That stock looks amazing! Always wondered how to make a stock. Somebody had suggested after you make the stock to pour it in an ice tray and freeze it for when you need it, huh sounds awesome!
We are having Mexican turkey soup tonight to celebrate US Thanksgiving. The turkey (George) was smoked for Canadian Thanksgiving on Oct 8th. His frozen carcass will be used for the soup stock. My Better 7/8 ths doesn't like carrots either. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I don't like carrot pieces in my soup either. Don't like the texture of carrots. The way I found to get around that is to finely grate carrots and add to the soup and cook until the grated carrots fall apart. Does give the soup a funny color but taste great.
Awesome comfort food. I make mine about the same. Love lots of black pepper.
Yeah I'm the pepper fanatic in my family :)

Thank you very much! This is the recipe that goes in the 3x5 card recipe box - just like mom and grandma did in the good the ole days...

Yes I love turkey soup or chicken. Looked awesome.

You have a wonderful Thanksgiving, too :)
Looks delicious! 👍
That turkey soup looks great. Nice.
Thanks!
Yum Ry! That’s a good soup for chicken, turkey or ham. Great job!
Thank you! My son devours this stuff :)
I also add ginger, turmeric and apple cider vinegar. I just made a pot today using the stock I made Christmas Day
Turmeric is a good idea :)
Hi Ry,
great recipe. Might want to try and turn it into a fricassée?! Think it might be great too. :)
That looks yummy
Thanks.🎅🤶❤🌲

Do they cook them with tweezers? :)
Cooking With Ry LOL not sure. All I know is I can only eat them with lots of beer to wash them down. 🍺
I’m using your recipe.👍🏼😊
Looks delicious! You make it just like I do.
Awesome video as usual!!! I would however love to also see how you would make a stock too
Ha, never mind I posted the video before I saw you actually make the stock!!!
Yeah had to get that stock in there :)
That stock looks amazing! Always wondered how to make a stock. Somebody had suggested after you make the stock to pour it in an ice tray and freeze it for when you need it, huh sounds awesome!
I'm going to be making that on Friday or Saturday. Yum!
We're gonna need a bigger pot... :)
Nice Job.
what happens to the veggies used while making the stock? Why do we have two batches of veggies?
The veggies used while making the stock give up their flavor in that process.

Such a great idea Ry! Ive had chicken soup yes but never Turkey. Looks delicious. Now how about make Turkey pot pie? 😁
I’m so over turkey...at least until Christmas :)

I think my wife would still find those with a magnifying glass. She's like a bloodhound when it comes to cooked carrots :)
Onions!!
HELP, is the broth I boiled down fat?..? It looks like fat after a day in the fridge
If you have too much fat, that's the perfect time to skim off the excess after it's solidified on the top of the broth after refrigeration.
Wow✔💯🍽
where's the Turkey Icecream at?!!
Coming soon :)
What no potatoes haa looks amazing
Turkey murder xcene! LOL!!!!!!!!
