@@RedVynil And one more comment. As I preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I wonder what causes people to be like that. I had an Uncle who was semi like that. He did work a job and would go to work. So he did go out some. Finally after his sister and brother-in-law died in 1977 you would see him more. And after the saw mill he he worked at burnt down in 1982 he became unemployed and it seemed he got out even more. It was nothing to see him sitting around on benches in Elkins,WV. Reading and other things. I believe two things made reclusive, (1) In World War 2 over in Germany he was pulling guard duty. A drunken American Officer walked up. When my Uncle told him to identify himself he never did. In fact he was defiant. So my Uncle was forced to shoot him! (2). He never married. I do hear he had a girlfriend but it didn't work out. If there was anything else I don't know. He was a little hard of hearing. But regardless he was semi-reclusive.
I remember getting this on DVD at the local FYE at the mall. It's a "The Red Store," now. The DVD came with a bonus short from the Curly days: Goofs and Saddles. I'd like to think that that short took place after "The Outlaws is Coming," since the Indians were subdued and only the Cattle Rustlers proving to be a bigger menace.

Then Paul Shannon started doing his Nosmo King character and we thought that's who King was! It wasn't `til a year or two later that we figured out that Nosmo was Paul and that the name came from a No Smoking sign.
The Stooges played a number of times on stage at Kennywood but, I never got there to see them. The stage was where the loading ramp to the Thunderbolt is, now.
@@RedVynil That is interesting. I by the way grew up in Elkins, WV. WTAR Channel 4 Pittsburgh was the station I watched it on. And yes I remember Nosmo King. And I heard the same about how he got that name!
I confess as a kid about 4 or 5 I found Nosmo King frightening but as I grew older he didn't bother me much.
Thank you.
I believe two things made reclusive,
(1) In World War 2 over in Germany he was pulling guard duty.
One correction. It was WTAE.
At the beginning it was a 100 round shooter!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Laughed my as off till my head spun they just don't make'm like that no more & a great message to meaning.
SHOULD HAVE CALLED IT "Batman Meets The Three Stooges"
I remember getting this on DVD at the local FYE at the mall. It's a "The Red Store," now. The DVD came with a bonus short from the Curly days: Goofs and Saddles. I'd like to think that that short took place after "The Outlaws is Coming," since the Indians were subdued and only the Cattle Rustlers proving to be a bigger menace.
I never seen this one! To me the best film of There’s was” Have Rocket Will Travel”1959
Spoilers:
I love the instant Polaroid gag with Larry's camera. Despite the goofy comedy of this movie, I like the armored wagon with the Gatling gun and turret mounted canon. Not actually feasible, I know, but still pretty cool. (And, of course, the only way to defeat it was a tree limb and a lot of pies and an A-Team level jury-rigged Gatling gun made from a meat grinder and an ammo belt.)
curly was the best out of the lot of them but u know what the three stooges where the best comedians ever, today its all dirty and evil! nothing beats old comedy, clean and respectful! no! 1 the three stooges were and will always be the best!
36:08 - It's hard to tell at this resolution, but Joe DeRita appears to be wearing a YMCA Indian Guides headband.

Fun Fact!! Ed T. McDonnell who played Bat Matsterson is well known in Boston TV as the host of, The Major Mudd Show (From 1961 to 1975) And was the voice of Fantasmic Features as Feep the Alien.
8:30 *Holy Catskinners, it's Adam **_BATMAN_** West!*
The one who didn't want to be called Adam East, coz a wrong way to Tiporary
Lots of fun watching.
Was the title purposely misusing the word "is" instead of "are"?
Yep. It's a reference to the tagline of The Birds, "The Birds is Coming!".
Timeless comedy trio/❤
Moe was their leader. Homer Simpson.
🤣🤣
I really enjoy these
36:29 - Henry Gibson of later 'Laugh In' fame.

THE MOVIE POSTER SHOWS "CURLY".
Didn't know the Stooges made western movies. Don't remember ... only tbeir regular craziness.
Adam West stated that the Stooges off screen personas were very serious.
Thankyou for sharing ❤
Batman and the 3 stooges!
Batman meets the Three Stooges.
I'm curious about the bleeping at 32:07. Were they prohibited from mentioning a certain gun brand or was that just a gag?
Well, if I'm reading their lips right, my best guess was they were saying "Smith & Wesson", and the company probably didn't endorse their usage. What the barkeep says to the fourth wall, I'm lost on.
Ok, so why does the thumbnail photo show Curly?
