Thanks for a great comparison with the same perceived volume 👍. Might be my ears or headphones, but I think they sound quite similar. I can't hear that the 4s should be muddier as mentioned above. Almost the other way around. What is your take Zar DJ?

Yes, it's almost like listening to them directly; in the test at max volume, however, you will hear less of the difference in recording, in reality, depending on the genres played, you will feel more power in favor of the minirig 4, however the Minirig 3 is more surprising in the bass, especially at max. Regarding the Minirig 4 it seems a little covered when listened to off-axis, compared to the minirig 3, at low volumes, but I think it is also due to the fact of the unified gain (as if it sounded in low gain) even in the minirig 3 in low gain it seems to sound less clear, especially if you use them for dialogues. A greeting 👋

I have the 3. Very tight comparison. Slight edge to the 4. Both have great clarity and tone. Bass is equal. There is only so much that can be done with a driver that small. Quality sound from that form factor is extremely impressive.

Have you heard or do you have the Vifa Copenhagen 2.0?

I think the MR3 sounds so much punchier, and well rounded! The MR4 might be a tad clearer, but it's also less engaging. It's missing something. The MR3 wants me to move along, the MR4, hm, I don't know... I find the sound just more pleasant on the 3. But that's just how it feels from this recording, not sure how it is in reality. Would be interesting to hear a comparison with the EQ enabled, and less treble and a bit more lower boost on the MR4

two splendid speakers but I think the minirig 4 could do even better with an app similar to the one designed for the 3, on some genres I also prefer the old, warmer signature. I might keep in mind the use of the EQ for the next videos, I should have used it in some comparison, the problem is that you cannot establish a level or a percentage when you go to use the EQ on the app, as there are only the 2 bars for bass and treble without any indicative number..

Well with all your testing and seeing MR3 are no longer available and are very similar in sound. I decided to go with the 2.2 setup. Thanks Zar. X2-MR4 and X2- Sub3. I have one issue thou. I want to run them in stereo wired so I have DDJ-400 with RCA right and a 3.5 Aux Y adapter that plugs into sub #1 than to Sub #2 than a spitter from MR that runs to input on both MR4's. But does not allow right speaker to be dedicated right with peessing the plus and minus button same time. The left and mono works on both. What should I do? Run the independatly red righ 1:1 setup and white left 1:1 setup?? Hope you or anyone who knows this can help. From amature DJ to Pro DJ's help a brother out.

Hi, in practice you shouldn't need to modify the channels from the minirig because by exiting the console you can manage the 2 channels individually, so I think it would be easier to connect a minirig 4 to the left side with its subwoofer with an adapter and connect with the other adapter the other minirig 4 to the right side with its subwoofer; I don't understand why you don't select the right channel on the minirig, does it only do it if you connect the minirigs that way?

Can you connect the minirig3 with the minirig4? Thanks for the comparison!!!

Ничего не понятно, кроме того, что вы любите рок. И что у вас за микрофон?

😅 Слушаю разные жанры, но, возможно, здесь я переборщил с рок-треками 😅 на данный момент использую Shure Motiv MV88+

@@Biohazardair Hi, the difference depending on the musical genre may vary but is normally evident in favor of the minirig 4

Muddyrig 4🤔🫣🤣🤣 Not sure what Minirig have done with the tuning of the MR4....At least you can EQ the heel out of the thing...shouldn't really have to though🤨 I'm sure updates will arrive to address things but then again sound preferences are very subjective. Even the Minirig 3 needed it's high reigned in via some EQ'ing....Thanks for the brill comparison and getting it out so quick! Not sure why other channels are taking soooooooo long with reviews and comparisons????🤔🤯

Let's hope the updates arrive soon 😉 but above all I would like a professional EQ directly integrated into the minirig app; any other reviews or comparisons? I think they will arrive with time, maybe other reviewers are still waiting for their minirig or maybe they are still examining it... a greeting 👋
