Usually I find it annoying to see tutorials that are 15min long because I want to get the information quickly, but this one was really good and well explained. Thank you !
Imagine having to do some job and stumble on this guy. You can literally put your brain on pause while listening to this. Skip hilarious jokes and self ads and go to 3:50 for the almost start of the tutorial. Or to skip the how to animate cameras tutorial and just watch what you came here for go to 15:45. Basically add a "Stage" item, you find it under the "Floor" button. Drag the camera you want to show, in the camera field, press the animate button, drag another camera, animate. 19 minutes to say these 3 lines.
Peace, thanks for your videos. Perhaps you could help me, i want to drop my already animated cameras in a stage, to change between them, but it does not work. I can not drop the camera into the stage. Is there another way, or am i missing something?
Hi, nice tut. But is there any way to render a frame/still image with two cameras. My problem is that a main camera is set for bokeh effect and has minimum focal distance and F-stop. But there are othere objects in the scene that are to be in focus. So, I need another camera?
This is a nice tutorial but my animation type won't work for this. How about if I had a text animation and I wanted different angles to catch different letters while they animate and all without duplicating the animation so it would be different cameras at different places but with the same timeline (same frames so each camera needs to animate from frame 4-20)? I hope this made sense.
I don't think you can do that in C4D. You'll need to create those cameras, render them separately, and edit the result in a compositing software like after effects or premiere
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Just one question. Is there anyway to make it in a non-progressive way?. I mean, what if I want to make a sequence with several cameras recording the same frames(from different points of view)? Thank you!
what if, i wanted to render multiple shot of the same animation, I mean if i've timeline from 0-90 frame and i want to render 1-90 from all the cameras is it possible ??
does anyone know if you can render multiple cams so the output actually looks like a PinP? A bit like a texture map but as a video and not just the surface material but all objects etc from various perspectives/cam positions? Basically rendering multiple cameras of the same scene and same frames but from multiple positions all at one and for the to create a single vid where they all play back on screen together?
Skip to 16:15 to see how to switch cameras.
lifesaver
wish i would have seen your comment before i watched this whole video to remember what the stage object was called

+Manish Namdeo you can use takes for that. I think even the render cue allows you to do that
