Swiss Trains: Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) at Brig, 20Feb22

MGB Bahnverkehr in Brig
Whilst the MGB at Brig is a very busy station, facilities are very limited, to say the least!
Situated between the forecourt of the SBB station and a busy street in the town centre, the station has 4 tracks & 3 low level platforms. Only two of these have shelter from the elements.
Extra services were also operating to Betten Talstation (cable car base) for snow sports.

1617 hrs: Arrival of Regio 43 550, 1608hrs ex Visp to Andermatt, with ABDeh 4/8 #2022 & 2 car trailer.
1625 hrs: Arrival of Extra service 10533, 1615hrs ex Betten Talstation, pushed by Deh 4/4 #51
1627 hrs: Regio 43 550 departs for Andermatt
1634 hrs: Arrival of R 43 553, Andermatt to Visp with Deh 4/4 #96 pushing
1641 hrs: Deh 4/4 #51 departs with empty cars to Betten Talstation
1725 hrs: Special train 10557 arrives from Betten Talstation, pushed by Deh 4/4 #51
1727 hrs: Regio 43 554, 1708hrs ex Visp to Andermatt departs, led by Deh 4/4 #96
1733 hrs: Battery & Electric shunter Tea 2/2 #802 shunts 2 cars, dropped from the rear of Regio 43 554
1734 hrs: Regio 43 557, 15:37hrs ex Andermatt arrives with ABDeh 4/8 #2025 & 2 car trailer.
