- Today I show you 2 easy ways to kill the wither, including one that you will take 0 damage doing!

I'm not worried about dying to the Wither. I'm worried about him destroying my friend's surver.
Then you just fight it several thousand blocks away :)
There's a bedrock trench VERY near 0 -62 0 where the wither spawns in bedrock. Build it sideways and watch it suffocate. Spawn as many as you can at once for a noisy challenge.

I ended up beating him but then accidentally setting two loose in the nether in my wither killer and it was a pain to kill them with the block lag oh boy
Suffocating in bedrock is what I use. But if you want to fight in a classic way - instead of potions use golden apples, on that stage of ge gold farm should already be there: they provide regeneration, absorption, and hunger/saturation. And unlike potions, they're stackable. Eat 4 in a row, and you have +8 hearts + regen, then just repeat when necessary.
I second this. Gapples + Totems is the way to do it without cheesing it.

night vision potions are great too because the wither will destroy your torches in 1 second, I find it helps a lot to see where he/she is!
Yes! Only reason I don't like them, is then you don't know when you're in a completely dark area, and hostile mobs can spawn in and sneak up on you.
Gotta say I really like the way you explained how to find the formation especially the creative copy part, most if not all others that I've seen typically just tell you to go to the bedrock layer and tell you to find a formation without a lot of explanation.
Yeah, I tried doing that myself... and the Wither teleports to some really wierd area's. I'd rather show people the method to test it, so you don't end up with a surprise wither fight.

It's not bad enough they're twice as difficult to defeat, but they should at least stay where you summoned them like on Java. So stupid. I'm really glad mojang mentions over and over and over how dedicated to parity they are, so hopefully this will be addressed soon.. although I know they're currently really busy with important things like removing the fire from campfires, the sound files for walking on various blocks, and textures that are off by a single pixel 🤦♂️
I like the challenge, it's meant to be hard. I hope they just make the Java wither as hard as the one on Bedrock
great vid Prwol, i was fighting the wither yesterday in the desert near an ocean, when he got to the second stage he flew over the ocean and vanish, i thought he is gone but when i came near that spot i found a hole 4by4 down to bedrock, with walls covered with water, i went down and there he was, i was fighting him for about 10 minutes he was not able to harm me as i was in the water the whole time sliding up and down, it was so much fun!
Great video and thanks for the supper clear instructions on how to find your automatic Wither killing spot in the bedrock. I know Silentwisperer gave instructions in his video as well but I didn't find them as helpful or clear. It might have just been me but you have a delivering the instructions in a way that my brain understands a LOT easier then quite a few other Bedrock players 😊👍👍👍👍👍

The Wither! Funnest mob in the game, hands down. One warning with the suffocation method, make sure you aren't wearing thorn armor. If you get tagged by the explosion, or with a stray skull, he will target you and escape.
I've killed three but not by myself. This is really fascinating.
Time to get to it!
After thorough testing, the tail part of the "T" shape always moves two blocks east when you summon the wither from a sideways orientation. East is your POSITIVE X direction. As long as you know which direction is east, when you place into bedrock, it will get stuck. I had 8 withers only a chunk and a half apart in two different spots because of this rule.
I just want to say huge shoutout to you, Prowl. Your shulker farm is by far the best, and the one I used in my private realm. I will say, the extra duplicator extension/portion failed for me and ate up a huge portion of my time. Putting the first two shulkers in the right spot and leaving one spot available right in front of them worked to start the duping process right away. Again, thank you so much for your creative processes.

Fighting it the manual way, I’ve had the same experience of it going vertical and having to chase it. Wondering if I build a pretty thick retaining wall of obsidian will that help keep it contained? I’ve mined all the end pillars, so could make the walls 10 or even 20 thick.

I mostly use a wither killer but maybe I will fight the wither to this was really helpful
I'm gonna have to try method 1 soon. Last time was before the change, and it was a nightmare. I also didn't know the Java one was different at the time, and it got lose near my base.
Since then, on of my favourite methods is to find a big cave and duke it out in there. Flying around shooting arrows, or flying into it and hitting it with my sword. Makes for an exciting battle for me, at least!
I've tried doing it in the open and it just keeps drifting up and up, to the point I lose it, so caves seem like a good way to keep it contained. Ish 😂
During stage 1, the wither always tries to get a certain number of blocks higher than the player, so flying is almost useless.
One day late, I have currently a whiter on the loose in my mine... dying is not the problem, seeing him and getting enough shots in and beeing able to climb up to him are...
Oh no!
Unless you have mobs that are in a museum collection you trapped then you can instantly solve your problem by setting it to peaceful..then re set and use Prowls method don't risk unnecessary damage to your world and always make a copy also before starting battle with the wither so you have an undamaged world to go to if stuff goes wrong..

It's a good thing i found this video because i honestly can't fight the wither the old classic way because instead of the area being destroyed completely, it drops so many blocks that it lags my server so bad.

Already used the cheese method on a creative copy. The withers preciously have almost punched through to my mooshroom island.
I use the withers charge attack to mine deepslate, it works really well :)
Highly recomend using night vision during fight
Btw one time a wither broke so many blocks underground in my world and i was lagging to bad i had to kill in creative so this really helped
Wither is not that hard if u have full diamond armour with protection 4. + Golden Apples. Only thing makes wither hard is dash. it does not deal damage that much but breaks too much blocks. That causes too much lag.because of lag it becames harder to kill. If u avoid lag somehow (it's not easy to avoid lag unless using some shortcuts). I defeated wither 200 block away from my base in island sorrouded by water. (Not too small island. I had plenty space to stand.)
I've had bad time against the wither, feel a bit more confident now hopefully secure my 1st beacon soon 🙏

Great video! So to clarify - Protection IV on all armour? Rather than 1x fire, 1x projectile, 1x blast and 1x protection? I have to confess I always use a wither killer in the bedrock rather than fight it.
Yes, all protection and some way to heal yourself or remove wither effect

The end portal method still works where you break an exit portal in the end by growing a mushroom making room to spawn the wither in the bedrock
Yep, but why go all the way to the end, and break a portal, when you can just dig down and do it close to home.
Finally killed the wither, lost the nether star in some lava. Almost had an aneurism.

Yep they aren't bad to use in this situation! Potions of regeneration work great too though.
We need a better Wither in Java!

@@Prowl8413Yes it's good to have the achievement isn't it and nice to be able to build beacons.. Your method looks like the best of any as when I tried to suffocate it in under my central end island portal it got out a few years back and I had to repair my end island somewhat ..I only got round to doing that in autumn of last year.. When I wanted to re spawn the dragon and get the achievement.. A friend ended up killing the wither when it was loose in my end and I got the achievement on a copy of my world ..
I built him in my underground base before it was an underground base 😭😂
Will arrows dipped in healing potion do more damage to the wither since he's an undead mob?

Killed the wither legit on my survival world, so now I’m beacon farming by suffocating him in bedrock- I put two in my normal spot before realizing they ESCAPED. Currently figuring out what to do

I think the easiest way to kill the wither is an end gate way. It suffocates and you don’t have to fight it at all
So then killing it in the Bedrock floor in the overworld is even easier. No end required, just dig down, and suffocate it in Bedrock.
You can use a warden to kill wither in bedrock version
Question, why not just make an obsidian box?

Don't fight the wither underground, get frost walker and go to an ocean.
I've seen that one done once and it's pretty cool! Nice way to do it on lower end devices where the dash attack lags the game with too many items!!
I don't use frost walker, I usually build a platform one block under water and fight him there using a riptide trident for mobility. But out in the ocean is the best place to fight it for sure
I killed 16 in 3 hours in the ocean. Milk milk milk and more milk
I mean that seems not that hard like many bedrock players say
