Firstly good video. The station definitely has an airport feel to it and I like the natural light. The station could definitely do with some palm tree to soften it a bit, but I love the connects between trains and buses, in bad weather they will help passengers no end.
Interesting. I didn’t know about this. We visited Belfast back in May and our bus stopped at the Europa bus centre. Do you know what will happen the building of the now closed Europa bus centre?
hey the area around and including europa will be part of a 1.3 million Square acres of regeneration including office housing and retail the europa itself will be turned into a massive street food market @@Irish_Vagrant
@@NornIronNews Yeah, the railway portion of it is getting nuked but this question is about the buscentre part that's glued to the Great Northern Mall.
I can't help but find it all rather empty and sterile. I hope they eventually install more seating, plant life, art, etc, to give it a bit more life, it doesn't look like the sort of place that one would want to spend more time than is absolutely necessary at present.
@@jakezyx It could use a few more touches to jazz it up a bit. Though as someone who hates crowded places I found myself really liking the amount of open space. Architecturally, I still much prefer the look of stations from the 19th century over sleek, modern minimalism.

I'm not entirely sure. I don't think they've announced any plans to demolish it. Maybe Translink will sell it off.

@@kennymitchell4361Ah, I had no idea, thanks! Also I'm assuming you mean 1.3 million sq feet.
They are demolishing it. The station platforms and track were ripped up from May this year. They are also going to demolish the Boyne Bridge.

why do the platforms not match the train doors height wise
Northern Ireland
And Northern Ireland is on the island of Ireland. It's literally in the name.
Don’t be naive

Should be announcements in English and Irish
Looks space age.
It's NORTHERN IRELAND UK new train and bus station get your facts correct.
