After playing through S/V for a year and then going back and replaying the original styled games such as HGSS and BDSP and B2W2, I realized how much magic has been lost within the franchise as we've "evolved" to open world or too simple of route structure. I desperately crave routes.
Uh.... excuse my ignorance, but are there not routes in SV? (I've chosen not to play it since I didn't like SM nor SwSh)

Aw heeeeeell yeah always thought this route theme was really underrated, I absolutely love it, so envigorating and energetic. Gen 4 Routes are truly unbeatable.
