I think this really made me remember why I fell in love with pokemon in the first place. I was around 7 when I first played pokemon diamond. Playing pokemon was pretty much the only time where I could do whatever I wanted. Go biking? Do contests? Take down terrorist organizations? No one could stop me! Just me and my piplup vs the world.

You mean sun/moon right? I liked that game, but battle tree pulled all kinds of haxes against me so I stopped doing that part. Still enjoyed rest of the game though! And I played as a female MC since her fashions and hair styles are much better.
Me too. I originally had a much more negative outlook on it but with every new playthrough I came to love it more and more. Plus it gave me my favorite Pokémon, Minior! 😊⭐️
Same here! Diamond was my first main series Pokemon game and I have so many amazing memories of the game! Such an excellent game! I am a huge 4th gen Stan and I don't care that it mainly has to due with nostalgia.
I wasnt ready for that 1st song. It took me back to a bad part of my childhood. Pokemon on the gameboy took me away from the surroundings that suffocated my young childhood. Instanly broke down in tears. now 29 and couldnt be happier with the outcome. Stay strong out there and remember, you are 100% in control of 1 thing in this Universe. Your mind.
I'm gonna miss the 3ds. There's always gonna be something special about carrying entire worlds in my pocket that I can jump into in a matter of seconds. I'm excited for home console games, but there's a magic to this first era of Pokemon that I don't think will ever be truly recaptured. However, music like this takes me right back to those magical days exploring the corners of every region, catching new friends, and doing impossible things with them. Thank you for this beautiful nostalgia trip.
@@noahlytle5330 my first game was yellow, I'm 28 now. Me and my son play ROMs on the emulator now, and I'm glad he gets to experience the Pokemon world in a very similar way that I did. These early gen games were VERY ahead of their time.
@@cincinnattydaddy4105 i grew up with a sister born in 2001, and i was born in 2006, so most of my early childhood consisted of the ds, the wii, etc. my first game was diamond, around when i was 4 or 5. i still have my copy and play it to this day. gen 4 might not have been the first of its kind, but i think it was incredible nonetheless.
playing pokemon diamond the first time (i was like 11 or so) is one of my best memories, going into this adventure, not knowing what will happen next or which pokemon i'm going to meet. i didn't look up anything on the internet (never thought of that tbh), it was a pure experience.
this apply's to any pokemon game, its best to play when around 10 years of age, first experience is pure, but after you get older you cant re-experience the game in the same way.

This takes me back to the good old days. After school ended we took out our systems, and were ready to take on the world. We used a team of Pokémon and each had a special nickname so we could remember them. From the starter to the legend was its own world, one to hide in when my parents where fighting. I had the same thing! except it was Pokemon Blue! I remember watching the anime and always wanted a pikachu then i found one in viridian forest and was SO excited! then pokemon yellow came out and you started with one XD damn i'm old. its really crazy to see the same nostalgia that I get with my first pokemon game (gen 1) is the same as people talking about diamond and pearl! its amazing what they have done with all of these games.

I still remember the first time I played pokemon. I was like 7 years when Santa Claus brought me leaf green. it was simply the best thing that happened in my life. now I am 24 y/o and I rarely play pokemon since sun/moon bc I don't have much time with studies and job. First off that bottle of water will have you going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Secondly that's true you always need to have your phone plugged. Thirdly if you live in a bad neighborhood you would never hear if someone was breaking into your house. That's all. Think about all the possibilities that can happen. No hate or anything just be cautious of your surroundings. I've seen many college student robberies and whatnot.
I remember playing Pokemon Yellow thinking how fun it was to go around on a journey choosing your friends and battling all obstacles of life, little did I know then that the Pokemon games truly shaped my way of thinking through life!

First song- For those kids who actually played Red and Blue (Yellow included) on GameBoy Color console. Remember when you took those very first steps outta town and got stopped by the Professor who proceeded to give you your very first pokemon that eventually took you on a very long but rewarding journey? Second Song- For every version, there has to be a pokemon center. Stepping into that very place you actually feel relieved, especially if your pokemon has status effects inflicted on em (Poisoned especially) Actual fact- You visited the pokemon center way WAY more often then you visit your mom/parents back in your hometown Third Song- What can I say? Bug pokemon contest. Fourth song- You step into town, and you realized there are a lot of high rise buildings, which incidentally confuses the hell out of you. But then the music hits you and somehow amid all that confusion, you start to wander all around town and explore (And of course, TV station guys) Fifth Song- Your very hometown in the Sinnoh region, where your very best friend Barry, that one kid who is headstrong yet kind hearted (I shall fine you a million dollars!), who set off together with you. would eventually become your rival/best friend Sixth Song- Stepping into the forest, originally to defeat the hideous people from a villainous organisation, you wander about and found an old Mansion called the Old Chateau. It all seems so weird... The Tv, the dinning room, the ghosts of a butler and a little girl. Little that you know there is a terrible backstory to this tale... But you carried on your journey after exploring and finding items left abandoned in the halls, never to look back at the place (Well until you get the national dex and you'll be back for the rotom) I didn't reached past the area for the seventh song onwards. Those who have can carry on contributing your memorable moments in the comments XD

playing pokemon diamond the first time (i was like 11 or so) is one of my best memories, going into this adventure, not knowing what will happen next or which pokemon i'm going to meet. i didn't look up anything on the internet (never thought of that tbh), it was a pure experience.
this apply's to any pokemon game, its best to play when around 10 years of age, first experience is pure, but after you get older you cant re-experience the game in the same way.
The old Pokémon games just hit different and I was like 10 or 11 when I played my first ones

This takes me back to the good old days. After school ended we took out our systems, and were ready to take on the world. We used a team of Pokémon and each had a special nickname so we could remember them. From the starter to the legend was its own world, one to hide in when my parents where fighting. Knowing my totodile would never leave me. Thank you for taking me back 🥺🥺

• A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate 💦
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time 🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone, 🎧
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. ☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/ phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need. 📖
Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐕
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.

First song- For those kids who actually played Red and Blue (Yellow included) on GameBoy Color console. Remember when you took those very first steps outta town and got stopped by the Professor who proceeded to give you your very first pokemon that eventually took you on a very long but rewarding journey?
Second Song- For every version, there has to be a pokemon center. Stepping into that very place you actually feel relieved, especially if your pokemon has status effects inflicted on em (Poisoned especially) Actual fact- You visited the pokemon center way WAY more often then you visit your mom/parents back in your hometown
Third Song- What can I say? Bug pokemon contest.
Fourth song- You step into town, and you realized there are a lot of high rise buildings, which incidentally confuses the hell out of you. But then the music hits you and somehow amid all that confusion, you start to wander all around town and explore (And of course, TV station guys)
Fifth Song- Your very hometown in the Sinnoh region, where your very best friend Barry, that one kid who is headstrong yet kind hearted (I shall fine you a million dollars!), who set off together with you. would eventually become your rival/best friend
Sixth Song- Stepping into the forest, originally to defeat the hideous people from a villainous organisation, you wander about and found an old Mansion called the Old Chateau. It all seems so weird... The Tv, the dinning room, the ghosts of a butler and a little girl. Little that you know there is a terrible backstory to this tale... But you carried on your journey after exploring and finding items left abandoned in the halls, never to look back at the place (Well until you get the national dex and you'll be back for the rotom)
