The pure hazel made your natural eye color pop and added hint of gold and green. You're right about the green, it does look more hazel-jade green Gemstone green is more noticeable but still blends nicely with your natural color and it really resembles the presious stone peridot. Sterling grey also stands out but still looks natural. You're also right about the turquoise, it looks more green than blue. It should have been called turquoise green or sea green. I noticed the Freshlook Colorblends turquoise looks more blue.

Great review! Air Optix should make the pupil hole a little bit tighter to look more natural. My wife has a similar eye color to yours and her brown irises are very visible around her pupils, especially in bright sunlight, and people seem to notice the lenses straight away. On the other hand they're probably safer to use than other brands.
I am guessing they are not prescription but maybe testers because the contact prescription is based on your pupil size and not as much of the natural color comes through
Answering to the 2yrs old comment is odd, but I will explain for others. If the pupil hole on lenses will be tighter it will be very difficult to see anything when it is dark, as our pupils widen when there’s lack of light, so the lenses pattern will start creating obstacles to see properly. But yes, it would be great and no, it can’t be done.

Wow!! This is crazy. I wear air optx too and have brown eyes. But they look COMPLETELY different on me. I did not know the color could vary so much on two different brown eyes. I think my eyes are quite a bit darker than yours and have more of a red tone and yours look a little more yellow or hazel. Your eyes a beautiful btw!! The pure hazel look a lot greener on my eye than yours. The honey looks crazy on my eyes. It looks like the vampires from twilight. They both look a lot better on your eyes. Like more natural. I had my eye exam today and went for adding a colored contact option. My eyes are a similar color and I have always wanted green eyes. I am considering gemstone or tourquoise. I really needed to see them on nrown eyes to get a better idea of how they might look on me. I have copper red hair and freckles. Thank you for this wonderful video. I have never worn contacts so I will have to get the hang of putting them in. I want to wear makeup and lashes so I guess I will put the contacts in first.

I use the regular grey on my brown eyes that are a little darker than yours. My eyes turn an aqua blue, quiet light in colour. Very different to how it changes your eye colour. I was really surprised on how so much more blue tones come out when i wear them compared to you. Thank you for making this video.
I have dark green eyes and just got the Brilliant Blue. This color is a bright, gorgeous blue on me. I also tried the turquoise lens. They'd be my second favorite. Both are beautiful colors and have a nice, dark gimbal ring; so they still look natural. Thank you for a great video.

I have eyes like yours that go a good bit darker sometimes. I have STERLING right now, love them but they're a pretty specifc look with the very slightest steel blue hue. I like the plain grey effect too but it doesn't blend very nicely for me. Leaning towards plain natural green, to make a bit of a DIY hazel effect. I was pleasantly surprised by the TURQUOISE! I agree that Turquoise layered better on your irises as a "rich green," than the richer green contact, which showed up nearly yellow/lime! It is stunning and complimentary similar to the Sterling. While it's likely made for lighter eyes, I think the AMETHYST purple is actually bit of a dark horse for adding a pretty natural extra "interest" to this color of iris... Almost like a unique version of what HONEY might do for light eyes. None of the blues are quite right for me, but plain is closest, not blending quite well enough like the plain grey. Thanks for comparing them! I think for now since I want a more subtle option I'll be going for plain green and amethyst this time but the turquoise is next!

The sterling Grey doesn't look robotic however its definitely not a "natural" eye color however neither is the turquoise. If you want just a bolder version of the regular grey that you wear now I would go sterling but the turquoise is a fun pop of color.
Thanks for doing this because I have eyes that are Hazel but they do look amber or golden brown like yours most of the time sometimes they go more yellow or show specks of green depending on the seasonal year I've noticed. It is so helpful to see what the color does on your eye as compared to the way they show the color the contact lens is supposed to be by the brand. I was so afraid to try colored contacts now I am so buying a set of 2 of these colors in the Air Optix and 2 colors of the Freshlook brand(because I saw that one first lol) in my prescription. I didn’t realize how much of a difference it makes but it really does! I have dark brown eyes and I have pure hazel and honey. They look like totally different contacts on me. After watching this I am beginning to understand why there aren’t many people with dark eyes making these videos. They look so natural and pretty on her but only the pure hazel looks somewhat natural on me (if you don’t look at my eyes too close)

Without Air Optix and without make-up you are a very beautiful woman. You should only wear the coloured lenses for fun. Dark brown hair and brown eyes work really well.
Air optix needs to update their colors because they have had the same old colors for awhile 👀 also it seems like they are the only ones to make breathable lenses 😵
I liked the regular green and the brilliant green, honey & the more subtle Grey color (my choice for me LOL. I have hazel eyes and bought the turquoise 2 years back, as it is my favorite color, but I didn't like how my eye color showed through in the middle. People that have that naturally 2 toned eye color, their 2 colors blend smoothly together. For people with darker eyes the turquoise & some of the other colors i think they don't blend well together and it makes them look weird/fake ( it goes from a bright color to our color no shading no blending) not good, not the look for me. I'm sure it would work great for those with a lighter middle close to the contact color they have chosen. However if you want it to look natural then take that into consideration and if you don't care then go for it as it will change the outer part drastically. So go for it! I appreciate 😊the video, thank you so much 🤗 because now i know what to order and what not to order LOL and how each color would look . Plus I don't have to waste any more money considering I still have 4 pairs I've never opened. As for how they looked on you, the video did out off a glare directly in the middle of your eye and at times you couldnt see your brown color but either way, I think they still looked good on you but my favorites were in the beginning. You are going to get a ton of advice here but in the end make it your choice & have fun with it. How do you feel when you wear a certain color of clothing? What mood does that color put you in? Make a Mood-Color chart. . Lets say... turquoise makes you feel exotic, blue makes you feel wild, sapphire makes you feel adventurous, brown makes you feel relaxed, green makes you feel sexy , grey makes you feel sophisticated, honey makes you feel sweet , amathyst makes you feel mysterious, and hazel makes you feel it all, then I say.... Match your contacts with how your feeling. Out your own mood description behind how each color makes you feel. whatever mood you're in & or color you're feeling, then just GO FOR IT GIRL! Again, you can get away with wearing them all. 👍🏻❤️🌈

That’s not true, they do have a size they can’t go smaller than. I have those my Copt shoes through do much the pupils holes are huge

Heads up - I have blue eyes and the amethyst is still really subtle. It basically just looks grey unless you’re really close.

Without Air Optix and without make-up you are a very beautiful woman. You should only wear the coloured lenses for fun. Dark brown hair and brown eyes work really well.

Air optix needs to update their colors because they have had the same old colors for awhile 👀 also it seems like they are the only ones to make breathable lenses 😵
I liked the regular green and the brilliant green, honey & the more subtle Grey color (my choice for me LOL. I have hazel eyes and bought the turquoise 2 years back, as it is my favorite color, but I didn't like how my eye color showed through in the middle. People that have that naturally 2 toned eye color, their 2 colors blend smoothly together. For people with darker eyes the turquoise & some of the other colors i think they don't blend well together and it makes them look weird/fake ( it goes from a bright color to our color no shading no blending) not good, not the look for me. I'm sure it would work great for those with a lighter middle close to the contact color they have chosen. However if you want it to look natural then take that into consideration and if you don't care then go for it as it will change the outer part drastically. So go for it!
I appreciate 😊the video, thank you so much 🤗 because now i know what to order and what not to order LOL and how each color would look . Plus I don't have to waste any more money considering I still have 4 pairs I've never opened. As for how they looked on you, the video did out off a glare directly in the middle of your eye and at times you couldnt see your brown color but either way, I think they still looked good on you but my favorites were in the beginning. You are going to get a ton of advice here but in the end make it your choice & have fun with it. How do you feel when you wear a certain color of clothing? What mood does that color put you in? Make a Mood-Color chart. . Lets say... turquoise makes you feel exotic, blue makes you feel wild, sapphire makes you feel adventurous, brown makes you feel relaxed, green makes you feel sexy , grey makes you feel sophisticated, honey makes you feel sweet , amathyst makes you feel mysterious, and hazel makes you feel it all, then I say.... Match your contacts with how your feeling. Out your own mood description behind how each color makes you feel. whatever mood you're in & or color you're feeling, then just GO FOR IT GIRL! Again, you can get away with wearing them all. 👍🏻❤️🌈
