Old comment :) My American sister in law is went to school in Ireland too and then ended up staying there. Cheese and onion chips are our absolute favorite. I wish we had them in the US! I love going to grocery stores and even convenience stores in other countries. We tried so many goodies in Ireland when we were there June 2022. We were in Canada in August and did the same. Going back to Ireland for Christmas and then Edinburgh for New Years
Sounds amazing! We're going back to Ireland next June for our daughter's graduation. We'll probably do a tour of Scotland while we are in the vicinity. We did a tour of Ireland this year.
I like to go to the grocery stores too. The reason the eggs are on the shelf is that they haven't been washed. In the US they are washed and so have to be refrigerated.
I have friends and family that live in Ireland 🇮🇪 and I love when they bring stuff up to us to have and try omg those potato chips are amazing and the candy 🍭 love it …. I’m the same way I go on vacation and you’ll always find me in a store shopping 🛍️ 😊
Love, love, love to go in grocery stores in other countries! I always bring stuff back. My friend has chickens - she said if you don’t wash the eggs, they don’t have to be refrigerated? 🤷🏻♀️
You should bought Irish crisp brands.King crisps and Tayto crisp and Hunky dorys. There just three but there are many more .Irish crisps are much more tasty than those British crisps.
No , you are not the only one. Not at all. Almost the first place I go when in Italy. Bring home cool spice jars, cookbooks in Italian and a bunch of stuff, all from the grocery store. Even bought a really pretty pair of wool clogs! So, you are not alone. Loved this. Really fun 😊
@@LeighsHome05Little late with the comment but it's known generically as "brown sauce" over here. HP brand comes from Houses of Parliament which is the British Brand, YR (Yorkshire Relish) is the Irish one. They taste the exact same so tomato, tomato. It's tomato based sauce with a slight spice to it and I think A1 sauce in the US is actually is based on the original recipe, so yea it's steak sauce. Normally used on a bacon sandwich or a fried breakfast but can be used as a condiment, marinade or as an ingredient for pretty much any meat based dish. Yum! 😋
Thanks for showing us a Irish ☘️ grocery store
My pleasure 😊
Thanks for sharing the fun Irish grocery finds! When I traveled to Spain in 1999, I loved going to the grocery there!

Yep. We had chickens (and other birds) when I was growing up. I just think it's cool to see.
