I don’t believe I’d call anyone my ‘spiritual Father’. God is my only spiritual Father! I agree when she says your biological parents can only take you so far, but for me God is enough. I don’t mind being in constant contact with a spiritual man who can help and guide (like a pastor) but I personally wouldn’t use the specific title of a spiritual father! My covering comes from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Having a spiritual father is biblical - both doctrinal and apostolic. A spiritual father is someone that is responsible for your doctrinal persuasion and your spiritual development. This could be someone that led you to Christ. For example in 1 Corinthians 4:14-21, we see Paul's role as a spiritual father to the Corinthian Church. Another example is Timothy, who Paul identified in 1 Tim 2 as his 'true son in the faith'. A mentor is NOT a spiritual father. In 1 Cor 4:15, Paul admonishes the Corinthian Church, saying, 'For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I (Paul) have begotten you through the gospel.' No responsible believer is to be void of a spiritual father, as this is someone that he/she must be accountable to, especially as they have spiritual oversight over their lives.

Profound
Nice to hear talk about spiritual parents, it's something you don't hear a lot about, especially amongst young people
