2:02 I always used to think that the Stegosaurus model was a sauropod he was making, as a kid. Dicraeosaurus would probably fit the neck length, but they never had it on the show.

They may be heavily outdated, but they give a glimpse of the past, the early ideas for these "terrible lizards".

@wilfffilmkijken well no. Think about it t-rex was an ambush predator. Being bright pink may have given them away just a little. Predators evolved to blend into what their surrounding environment was, look at lions, leopards even the colouring of sharks.

Crystal Palace Park had weird beasts, but at least they look interesting and outlandish to look back on.

His name is David Norman. He also appeared in part 1 of the 1992 4-part documentary PBS The Dinosaurs.

@viewitnow well this show aired when i was in grade school, in 2000. Now if it was recently changed from brontosaurus to apatosaurus, but if it was then this show was pretty out of date i guess. Do you know how long it's been known as apatosaurus and not brotosaurus? I've looked it up and i can't find anything.

@viewitnow Oh ok thanks for that, well unfortunatly, dinosaurs weren't really important to my school haha. The only time i've heard of dinosaurs were either on the discovery channel and then finally last year in college for my geology class and we didn't even focus on that.

He called it a brontosaurus because thats what it was in the movie, even though the creature did not really exist

      Come 2015......and Brontosaurus is back.

    • @moatguy4471

@@paleoph6168 Not so fast!!! They only think it's back because of it's neck being longer and less wide then Apatosaurus. A Brontosaurus skull still has yet to be found. Remember that male giraffes have wider necks then females for fight each other for mating and of course the female sauropods would have longer necks because they would be bigger then males to make so many eggs! So therefore it's likely that 2015 studied "Brontosaurus" could be female Apatosaurus. That's just my theory until a Brontosaurus skull is found.

Yep that's true. I mean, there are animals of every color, so why couldn't dinosaurs be the same? T-rex could have been like a flamingo.... lol
