I have a Q 2 but its not the best for a walk in the woods with family and in my case grand children , the 28mm can produce good people shots but for me its easier with my m262 and 35mm zeiss f1.4 because its not quite as wide so i get the 43mm thing for that. Funny thing about getting in the picture with a rangefinder i have found that children nail focus almost every time but not adults!!
For everyday carry, nothing beat a smartphone imp (pick your brand). Have had a few Qs. sold each of them them after a few months, and passed on the 43 this time around when call came in. For the love of photograpy, Ms are my fav, and for family. action, etc., I stick w/ Canikon -- because you are correct, Leica AF not in the same league as Canon/Nikon/Sony -- not even close.
I would be interested in hearing a bit more about why you might consider selling the SL3, I do miss owning a Q and now and then considered if I would want to sell the SL3 to go back.
Totally with you Constantine. Grandkids are the priority right now and my M11-P makes it a challenge. I sold my Q3 to buy it and then the 43 came out which turned me upside down. So I have my name in for one but do I keep the M11? Probably not.
Selling the sl3? Way is that ? I get it m11 you can change the lenses but no auto focus so what camera will you use instead canon ? Bit it’s not Leica meaning the Leica glass and colors, I was thinking to sell my sl3 for the Hasselblad X2D but not sure yet.

Sounds like a great setup!

I love the camera and if I trade it in I’m keeping the lenses for now.

@@BillMcCarroll yeah…it’s a tough decision to let cameras go…especially ones that we love. That’s a tough one…let me know what you decide?

May I suggest you hold the camera you are reviewing within the frame of the camera you are shooting the video with?
