- This video is a recreation of some Grace Kelly scarf styles. Easy tutorial for vintage style scarves. It’s a recreation of some neck scarves and head scarves styles from 1960s and 1970s.
In this tutorial I use a square silk Hermes scarf Charreada 35” X 35”, a small silk scarf Cacharel and some silk vintage scarves.

As a hijabi i had some really bad time trying to look elegant, modern and in the same time modest. Until i started using Kelly's scarf style, it's a really life saver.

There is a variation to the last scarf tie you demonstrated you may enjoy. It uses two 90cm silk scarves. The first is tied as you demonstrated with the back tie with the scarf moved more forward toward the face. The second scarf is tied the same way, behind he head but positioned a little further back on the head, exposing a few inches of the first scarf. It's great for a chilly day and provides an interesting contrast between the two scarves!

Love the elegant look of Grace Kelly's headscarves with sunglasses. But when I try, the scarf keeps sliding off my head, I cannot get it to stay in place. Bobby pins would spoil the look, any suggestions?

Hello. I have a question 🙋🏽♀️ Do we take off our scarf once we are inside? For example when we are having dinner or meeting friends for cocktails? Grace Kelly is a class act.
Thank you for your questions! Actually it's very interesting and not obvious. Usually, I take it off if I'm inside, but I keep it if I'm outside. However, if I have a sophisticated headscarf style like turban as a part of my outfit, I will keep it even inside. I think you should do how you feel more comfortable. :) Elena
