      @@SoniaJones I've made the two different scrunchies. My daughter's 17 so she thinks she's too old for the one with the curls, but I think I'll make a few to see. I'll try to post some pics to fb if I can. Thanks for the great patterns!

    Hello Sonja, I just want you to know, I really enjoyed your tutorial , I am having the time of my life learning how to do a variation of Projects , these scrunchies are super fun and are helping me fill my Christmas stockings and keeping my Hands busy while dieting plus not going stir crazy during this pandemic. Thank you I’m going to start on mine tomorrow for a market stall. Hello from Australia. Ps. I had chronic debilitating migraines until I started taking Aspro Clear 300mg. It dilates the blood vessels in the brain. I would have migraines for 5 to 7 days in bed vomiting and all. I am happy to say I haven’t had a migraine in 2yrs now. Obviously check with your doctor or pharmacist. But it was like a miracle for me.

    I have 2 craft fairs coming up in the Fall & wanted some small items & it seems 'scrunchies' are still 'in'. I knit but am learning to crochet....so far some wash/dishcloths & 2 scarves. But I think I can do this & am excited to get started. I'm also learning to sew, barely, but have cut out for some cloth scrunchies. The 2 dif mediums for choices will look nice on my table I think. Thanx for sharing this one, Sonia. I'm sure your migraine is over by now, I hope?

      So pleased they will be useful. Yes it seems scrunchies can back in at some point. Not sure when but I see them everywhere now lol. I have two more styles coming that might be good for you as well. Good luck with your stall:) The migraine is back down to just a headache for now thank you :).

    Hi Sonia, I had a question. I've seen so many versions of Scrunchies, and I'm not new to Crochet, but believe it or not I'm new to scrunchie making😲. I've done 1 with sc (us), then a few dc in the singles. Is there a reason you're doing several rows of sc rather than using like a dc or tc? Does that affect the feel and drape? Great tutorial! I make tutorials myself and I appreciate the effort, specially when unwell. Thanks💕

    • @SoniaJones
      @SoniaJones  4 роки тому +1

      I prefer the wavey ones texture with an SC but my basic one that mimics fabric scrunchies are better with DC. I think it is just a preference really. I have different scrunchie styles which use the stitches chain, SC and DC. Each style could likely be swapped around and use the other stitches. I just really liked the resulting fabric the way I did them lol.
