Hopefully Testament and Death Angel will listen to this and realize that this is how thrash metal is suppose to be produced. I had a hard time listening to the last Testament because of the production. This is how drums are suppose to sound, not like that shitty typewriter sound that Gene has on the last Testament. I feel the same way about Death Angel now. They need to dump Jason and go back to this kind of production.
I had the pleasure of meeting Phil in Toronto way back in early 90s when they were on your with Sepultura, Napalm Death and Sick of it all,, he was walking around in the crowd, he signed my pack of smokes than he looked at me and said I farted sorry hahaha , he was a cool guy

Back in early 90s the band I was in at the time all 5 of us attended their show at City limits in PGH pa. Some of the Roadies traveling with them their van broke down. Lucky for us we got there super early and all 5 of us landed ourselves as Roadies and stage security. The guys in Sacred Reich hooked us up with St Paulie girls and Busch beers! Best time ever being a stage hand. Thanks guys
Incredible. Hopeful reunion and awaited disc after more than 20 years. I am looking forward to you to go out and buy it and to see them live. For many more years with Sacred Reich. Thank you!

This is huge news! Forr those that dont know, Secred Reich were one of the very best Thrash Metal bands in the 80s and i for one will be supporting this new release. Big Shout out to Phil Rind who is a bloody legend.
I am glad that they are back. I have Sacred Reich's old CD albums 'Ignorance', 'American Way' and 'Independence' at home. Their old songs are superb. 👍🎶

Sacred Reich played at Into the Grave festival in the Netherlands yesterday. They were the closing act on the second (smaller) stage. I didn't know much about them, I wasn't even sure if I was going to check them out. I decided to go and I didn't regretted that decision for a single second. They were fucking awesome! They had kickass riffs and a nice groove. They also played this song. And on top of that, Phil Rind was really cool and good with the audience. He seemed genuinely happy and thankful that they were able and allowed to play at the festival and kept saying thank you to the audience. I saw Jinjer, Queensryche, Testament, Meshuggah and Lacuna Coil at the festival, but Sacred Reich was the absolute highlight for me and I hope to see them soon again!
While Sacred Reich isn't quite my cup of tea, I'm just really glad that Dave McClain has found a new home and hasn't lost his passion for music after the disaster that is Robb Flynn.
My ONLY problem with this is that Greg and Jason aren't there. Phils vocals are outstanding - Love the Mix too. If the WHOLE album is like this,.... then i'm stoked. Totally worth the wait.

It does sound a cut above the countless "modern thrash" albums with the exact same sound.

I bought this band's first album in the 80s. Interesting to see they aged as I did. Now we are all middle-aged but still into thrash.
