Up the beanstalk is pretty insane! I'm surprised you're not running one
Something I found very helpful for slow red decks that play the one ring is torch the tower and voltage surge. Both are basically shocks with upside in that kind of a deck (where you usually have some treasures and other artifacts) and you do want a certain amount of cheap removal anyways. In addition to that they allow you to sacrifice your ring at instant speed for just 1 mana in case you really need to deal with it because you will die to it.
I have wanted a mono(ish) green historic brawl deck but never found one that was decent, this looks fun

Prime Time is the REAL commander.
In the last game putting a land on top of the opponents deck is a lot worse than putting nissa on top. You know they don’t have land in hand, so either play prevents a land drop, and giving them a land let’s them play atraxa (gives them an extra mana) vs setting them back 3
But what if primal command would only let you put noncreature permanents back?
Is there any connection between Amazoinian and your Commanders? often see the same commanders on following days
They're both going to try the new commander sometime around their release date is my guess

Didn't matter in the end but at 30:56 you blocked when you had your One Ring shield up. Could have let that go, taken no damage and when the opponent did their edict sack the Mind Slayer instead of the Titan. Again, didn't matter but be better CGB. JK

Welcome to Historic Brawl, where to have a good chance to win, you don't play synergies, you play like a spike and stuff your deck with the most generic good stuff cards in your colors, while just barely staying on theme. Creative deck building while having a functional deck doesn't give rewards: winning does.

Bruh, it's a 1v1 format, which means removal is necessary. Building too much to rely on your commander is gonna mean two removals and you're done.
In EDH you can lean on your commander more because usually, unless you've chosen just a busted ass commander, you won't be targeted as much.
And any one coming into brawl thinking it's any where near the same as commander is just naive. The format is not even trying to give you the same experience because it can't. Historic brawl is to give you a place to play your busted ass cards.
@@tonysmith9905 I never said anything about not playing removal or other forms of interaction. You can play good interaction and still play on theme: I do it all the time. My problem is that in a 100 card singleton format, I keep seeing lists that aren't even playing cards based on their Commander's mechanics and themes, just generically good cards attached to their colors.
Also, it's Brawl, a casual format with no ranking system, and people still choose to play more like a Spike than not. I get there's a meta, but I can't help and feel jaded when something that was meant to be casual turns into a Spike format just to bang out easy daily wins.
And so much for deck based match-making: when I queue up occasionally with deliberately jank commanders, with less rares and format staples, I still get queued up against spike lists (by that I mean other bad/jank commanders that mostly ignore the mechanics of the commander, and just play good stuff and staples, so they can farm the daily win system anyways). If that system really worked as intended, then I wouldn't be as jaded as I am am.
You can blame that on Arena’s incredibly restrictive wildcard pricing. 4 mythic cards are 20$. IIRC 4 Gold Rares are 15$. If you only have 2~4 wildcards to spend, you spend them on mythic rares that go in any deck they’re color matched with. Same with Gold Rares. Only the whales and streamers can afford 4x of all the good cards for standard deck lists, and I’m not gonna spend my precious wildcards on goofy niche decks so that my opponent can have more fun not getting thoughtsiezed. I get that it sucks, but blaming try hard players seems disingenuous.

Weird that Prime Time is banned in Commander and not in Brawl.
There aren't busted lands in brawl. Additionally brawls banlist is made by wizards where as the commander banlist is some people not associated with wizards at all.

That's not why. The official reasoning for banning Titan in Commander is because games always devolve to who can abuse it the most. Steal it, clone it, rez it, etc. The RC said they got tired of games just being who did the most with Prime Time. It's the same for Sylvan Primordial.
