You know any zonai devices would've been a lot more better when driving/flying/shooting if Nintendo would give us a new Zonai Device called "Accelerator" from the Update or DLC. Because with that, it provide us more speed on fans, big/small wheels. Rapid firing for the Cannons. Not make them slow like an old man making coffee.
I'd imagine the reason why the Cannon doesn't swing around the pole is because it's shooting balls of magic, which I imagine has barely any mass and so produces almost no force until it explodes.
It makes sense. The AI is becoming sentient and knows the stress that the user will bring to it. The only visual image the AI has of said "user" is the avatar "Link". So technically speaking...Yes, AI would see link as the symbol of evil, essentially Satan himself in their world.
It already has. I built a clunky, horse towed system like this that fired multiple volleys before reloading. It was basically a Katyusha. It wreaked havoc and was dirt cheap as well as easily accessed in the early game.
Haha! Someone else built a rocket attack system?! Dang, great minds think alike! My rocket system was more of a cheap WWII Katyusha system and was pulled by horse on a cart. It functioned almost the same way but was not fuze entangled and fired rockets in the same manner (via laser and puff shroom bursting) but had a steering stick trigger in stead of fuze entanglement. It also had a vertical rack of rockets so it could fire several volleys before needing a reload. It was a much simpler build for early game and was not as maneuverable but was easy to make and very cheap to build. A worthwhile tradeoff in my opinion.
@@metayoshi1712 it's just funny that he has it as "warcrime of the day" when in this video the hinox breaks out of it after a couple times and he doesn't even attack it 😭
I didn't even think the build was that bad. 3:03 That's actually quite scary. 3:16 What happens if you defeat Ganondorf from a distance? 3:21 Useless? I could use this to get to high areas. I had to look up how to remove parts from shrines.

4:50 Perhaps the rocket would push the wooden beam backwards if it was firing into a cage of some sort, like those rocket propulsion vehicles we've seen. Worth a shot.
The level of ingenuity that people have shown in this game is very impressive and it quite enjoyable to watch. I play because I like bashing monsters with sharp objects and violent explosions, guess I'm just old fashioned.
In the shrine with the big gear and the platforms… this is how I solved it, except instead of having the second pole on the top platform. i put it on the bottom one so the top platform would be lifted all the way up. Is there another solution? Seemed to me like that’s what the design intended
The projectile needs to hit something in order to propel the build forward. Old Orion builds use something like a mine cart, exploding in the cage part. Newer builds nudge 2 canons so the projectiles hit each other.
Thanks for that spoiler warning. I just started playing last week and have been enjoying the crazy builds, war crimes and houses…but I don’t need final boss spoilers. 😁
3:14 spoiler: THAT WORKS?! wonder how the cutscene plays out, probably normal if i were to guess but huh?? swear this is on the same level as glitching the light bow out of the fight using a horse in dark beast ganons fight
There is a bit that goes into explaining how it works and why it is needed for a rocket system, but here is the fastest and simplest way to explain it. Basically it is just there to make it so you don't have to manually hit each rocket one by one with an arrow to fire them. For the full detailed version keep reading. Brace yourself, I will try to be concise and as fast as possible. The powered construct head supplies power to any zonai devices it is connected to and does so without making them "go" or "turn on" or "activate" immediately like it would if there was no construct head. The construct head decides when the Zonai parts get to "go" or "activate" specifically, when it sees an enemy. So strapping a construct head to a rocket will make both the rocket and head fly off toward an enemy when the construct head sees a foe. That works fine for a single auto-fire rocket if you want to have the construct head fire whenever it sees a foe, but if you want to be the one who decides when the rocket shoots or if you want a whole chain of rockets to go off one after the other instead of using one construct head for each rocket then you need what I call "changeable" or "pop-able" items fuzed between the rockets. These items include any item that can be cooked on an open fire or frozen (for example: Hylian mushroom gets cooked and changes with a "pop" to a toasty shroom while raw meat gets cooked to seared steak or frozen to frozen meat) as well as any item that "explodes" or "pops and disappears" when damaged, like muddle buds and puff shrooms. For muddle buds and puff shrooms any damage will work but with food items that need to be cooked or frozen in order to change you will need a flame or frost emitter respectively. Because the item pops or changes in some way the game breaks the rocket off of the construct head but doesn't turn the rocket's power off, which means the rocket is no longer told by the construct head to "not go". So, the now "free" and powered rocket "activates" and flies off with whatever payload you fuzed to the end. Sorry, I know it was long, but that gives all the details of why the construct head is needed for this kind of system.

I'd imagine the reason why the Cannon doesn't swing around the pole is because it's shooting balls of magic, which I imagine has barely any mass and so produces almost no force until it explodes.
But what about when it's not attached to anything and it just propels itself when firing?

feel like remote controlling might as well become a glitchless feature in the dlc, since its already pretty much in the game, the devs should use it
Sadly, the devs have basically confirmed DLC won't be a thing.
