      More energy for incoming particle does not mean more ionisation. dE/dx (energy deposited in detector medium per unit length) depends on the incoming particle energy and usually high energy particle will deposit less energy and thus ionising less. See Bethe Bloch formula.

    Outstanding presentation - thanks. The one thing I think could have been added is some calibration of what the appropriate electric field values are in typical situations. But as far as the principles go, you absolutely nailed it.

    Your videos are fantastic. If only you made them a couple years earlier they would have helped me so much in school. It would be cool if you did a series of videos on dosimeters. Thermoluminescent dosimeters, optically stimulated luminescent dosimeters, film badge dosimeters, quartz fiber dosimeters, electronic dosimeters, etc.

    It would be great if you could make a test for this Nuclear Physics topic based on the videos which we can give after watching the whole series. You can make it a paid test too. Giving tests is a great way to test the knowledge and also increases confidence.
