Your method of removing and reinstalling the deck by using the loader is a great idea Mitch. Enjoyed the full watch. See you for the next one.

💥 Fun intro! I’ve got a 1/2 cordless impact and it works awesome for removing blades. I’m still running my original blades, I can’t believe how long they’ve lasted.

From the owner's manual for these decks: Mower deck spindle torque 72-87 lbs-ft. I didn't write it down, but I'm thinking the nut was 29mm. I'll have to check on that again.
2 tips for hooking up the PTO: As you discovered, sliding in from the back of the tractor makes it a lot easier for connecting the mid-shaft. I also remove my drawbar (pull the pin and pull out the bar- easy peezy) to keep from getting jabbed in the chest/middle. I use a big piece of cardboard and lay it on the driveway and it really makes sliding under the tractor super easy AND keeps me from grinding/sanding the heck out of my back.

@@MJADoingStuff I bought a 30 mm socket for the job. Yesterday I ordered a 26 mm socket for that blasted screen I had to clean as part of the 1500 hour transmission oil change. After all the work, the screen was clear for the second time. At 500 I said to it, "I'll see you in a thousand hours."

Hey Mitch, Hope all is well and your not working to hard. Great job on the video. I have an extra deck for sale if you want it. LOL I like your trick for getting the mower deck on and off. I'll have to try it out. I power washed my mower deck this spring, that grass is tough to get off. Keep up the awesome work. Have a great weekend. Take care and all the best.

Thanks Kyle 👍 I am still practicing and learning how it edit 😂. I don’t pressure wash it cause I like mowing wet grass too keep the dust down. So for me it doesn’t help. Did not look to bad for 2 years. Yep working like crazy probably till November. Take care and keep putting out videos 🍺😁👍

If your good with the grinder (I'm not so good) you can flip the mower deck over and give the blades a quick sharpen with out even taking them off. Saves a couple steps.

With turf tires I don't think there is room for me to reach in from behind the way you did. It would be great to have two hands in there, though. Nice video using the loader. I use a chain and the arms of the auto shop lift for the same purpose. Be sure to use hooks, not a knot, as a knot can come undone and drop the tractor.

@@MJADoingStuff This morning I reassembled the deck and installed it quite easily, thanks to the car hoist lifting the front of the B7510 on a chain, and especially because you provided the hint that I can use both hands on that devilish PTO hookup if I crawl in from behind. I'll be taking the deck off for maintenance much more frequently now.
