Hey everyone, it’s been a while
Since it's a month away towards National Spider-Man Day, here’s my short prologue teaser for my fan edit series.
I've worked on this promo for a week and it's a bit rushed but it was worth it. :]
info dump but this takes place before the beginning of the late 2000s. Parts that were shown from the teaser:

I won't be working on an opening intro for the prologue anytime soon since I'm finished with my first intro that's been worked on back in May 2023.

Cast:
Peter Parker/SM: Joseph Gordon Levitt
an obvious one. He's one of my fav. Peter Parker/Spider-Man fan castings for a long time after watching some of his film roles like 50/50, Inception, TDKR, and the lookout.
Other choices I had in mind: Jake Gyllenhaal, Adam Brody, Topher Grace, Justin Long, Jay Baruchel.
Gwen Stacy: Kate Bosworth
Fancasting Kate Bosworth for the role was something I had in mind for a while. I don't like her portrayal as Lois Lane (not her fault) but I think she would've done a decent job towards Gwen. She wasn't the only one on my list: Scarlett Johansson, Emilie de Ravin, Julia Stiles.
Harry Osborn: Adam Brody
He was supposed to play The Flash from George Miller cancelled Justice League Mortal film. He was one of my fan candidates for Spidey but I can see him playing Harry Osborn too.
The first actor I've used was Wes Bentley but I decided to change it towards Brody since Bently was a few years older than JGL.
Mary Jane Watson: Anne Hathaway
I enjoyed her Catwoman role but she would've been a great MJ during the 2000s era. I initially had Mary Elizabeth Winstead in mind but I decided to move forward with Anne.
Other choices: Bryce Dallas Howard, Krysten Ritter, Lizzy Caplan, Alison Brie
Flash Thompson: Channing Tatum
Other choices: Eric Johnson, Skyler Stone

For those who wanted to know about the song name, it’s a short Jet X Pillows mashup edited by me. I've used the vocals of Jet’s Hold On and the music instrument of The Pillows Bran-New Love song from FLCL.
I tried to make a full version mashup back in 2018 but it didn't go well. So I tried it again recently and I managed to make it work.
oh and btw I've used The Pillows since not only I've been a fan of the band but it's Fooly Cooly's 19th anniversary next month. Not a huge fan of the anime but it's a pretty good series and it's only six episodes.

Also Joseph Gordon Levitt as Peter Parker/Spider-Man is a really unique choice in fan casting or at least imo it is I usually just either see the guy that's Nightwing from Titans or Evan Peters or many other choices

Joseph Levitt Gordon was my favorite casting after watching his past roles like 50/50, Brick, and The Dark Knight Rises when I saw that film in theaters.
I kind of see the nightwing actor getting the role but that fan casting was slightly ruined for obvious reasons.
However, I could totally see Evan Peters as Spider-Man if Andrew Garfield wasn't the choice for Spider-Man back in 2011.
