ilmango has a spawner upgrade that is similar to this but uses water with a dispenser rather then arrows. This has the advantage of not damaging the mobs so that they can all be softened together (dropped 23 blocks etc). It is also therefore cheaper, as it does not require filling it with arrows.
I pointed his version out in my original video. Two comments... arrows are so plentiful at a skelly spawner that most people let them despaw, so I don't think that part is an issue. The part about damage is a consern if you are trying to get them all to half a heart, so in that sense the water version is better... BUT... water blocks spawn attempts so if you are making a multi spawner farm setup the water streams can block more attempts than they save from removing those blocks whereas the arrow doesn't block spawns. So, in most senses they are equal, water version is better if you are trying for one-heart kills, arrow version better for multi-spawner setups :)
idk if water is able to flow into webs without breaking them, but if it can, could you have them partially within webs to make them Drowned by the time they get to the killing area? Like if it;s going downwards you can have a piston push them into the side of a cobble wall and then they'll get stuck in webs, alternating between wall and web

Also cause damage, which can make it difficult to figure out drop level so as not to have them drop and die from fall damage. You can also add a filter option to a mob spawner system, then use the mob converting still.

The part when you transform the archer is theiry good but i don't anderstand the part when an arrow is shoot to the archer when He Spawn on top of the spawner, i mean you Can just fill this part with blocks and that it ?

I mostly wanted to build a zombie spawner drowned farm for the tridents personally since I have such terrible luck finding one normally (they never seem to drop them for me even when they have one, lol) I won’t get a lot of use out of copper since it can’t be used for equipment, and it’s not a material I will use for building a lot. Not enough to worry about renewability anyhow. Now if you can sell it to a smith or something on the other hand…
having the zombies just sit in the water on the hopper is not very convinient for killing them, could you make a design where they get funneled through the water like the skeletons and you get the drowwned at hte end?
Great tutorial, you forgot to mention that skeletons with leather boots won't submerge thru the powdered snow block. I manage to make mine work by adding making it a 1x3 drop for my exp farm with a water elevator.

no... because if two spawn at the same time (or one spawns that blocks the shot from the one on the spawner) the dispenser will be locked on and never shoot again breaking the system and your spawner farm. you need the clock to keep shooting (slowly) incase the first shot is not enough

Would there be a way to convert the zombies before they enter the killing chamber like with the skeleton spawned? I can’t think of anything right now. But maybe drowned can move a conversion chamber and swim into a killing chamber which the zombie can’t do?
I mentioned it in passing, but the easiest thing to do if you didn't want to kill any zombies before conversion, is put a sticky piston that pushes a block preventing any more from falling down until the ones in the chamber fully convert and you murder them, than pull the block back and let the next batch fall

I guess you would be interested in this as well, since you discussed to shoot skeletons and zombies with arrows to take them off the spawner. So the next part would be hypothetical speaking. Maybe you can use it in a video if you like to continue on my thoughts. What if you let the zombies fall out of the spawners checking reach to let the spawner spawn zombies constantly. Let them drown there. They obviously have to come back up because the player needs to be close to the spawner for it to activate. But all of this brings me to some questions. Would drowned actually influence the zombie spawner's spawn rates? I guess the drowned won't affect the spawner's range as the spawner is much older than the drowned are. But I haven't tested this. How could you seperate the zombies from the drowned? A water tupe jumps to my mind where the zombies are walking towards a villager or the player. Another thing might be that drowned can swim up, where zombies can't. Zombies could get stuck behind a block being agro on the player. Once they confert into a drowned they get agro again at the player and swim a block up to get into the killing chamber. Obviously the player has to be inside the range of the spawner where the zombies are not.

But before it spawns a zombie it checks in a wider area if there are enough zombies. If you say that is wrong I will trust that for now and check the it if I'm gonna use one in 1.7.

or just use the sticky piston to push a block into the way to prevent new ones from falling down until you kill the first batch

Man! The arrows have to be filled! You can use a waterlogged trapdoor above the spawner to flush mobs down. (This made IlMango in 2017 actually)

it works that they will convert, but the main reason to do it is for the copper drops which are not until 1.17

no xp if you don't player kill but you will still get the (non-loot requiring) drops

not sure if those have been set yet, but my understanding is they match what iron used to be (hopefully they increase that before the final release)
