Eh up Sam what happened there lad at 6.18-6.19 Did you have to edit out a bit of bad language as you had started spreading with the wind then next second all the back window was clarted up with muck. My first muck spreading job at the farm where I was working he was very keen on always spreading with the wind to keep his tractors nice and clean. Nice pair of Leylands, 270 and 272 synchro since you ask, well it was the mid 1970's but it's a job that for normal sized family farms has not changed. As for the fertiliser price it's absolutely shocking but here we never used the stuff as all our land is permanent grass, with just muck from bedding out the sheds spread and that's it. Grass is full of clover and wild flowers. Hope you washed that muck of when you got back. Fabulous shots of the muck spreading, really enjoyed that. All the best Sam.
I usually have to driver like hell to get a good spread pattern from horse muck otherwise the rotor spreader seems to dump it all out as quick as it can 🤦♂️
One way to keep the control on the wind is to mount a little flag on the tractor, that way you know the direction of the wind
