How lovely to see this! I live on the Broads and visit Ranworth regularly. Wroxham is a very busy place in the summer and the rivers are like Piccadilly Circus!
Been to wroxham many times. Theirs a fantastic model railway attraction their too which is worth a visit. Roys is still their too, not sure how they are doing with this covid outbreak though.
@0:26 As a kid, I had two 'Broads' holidays with my parents in the 70s but even now can remember most of the place names and boat details. For our first holiday (1973) we hired a boat from Moores of Wroxham, while our friends who had been before opted for a boat from Matham Boats It was decided (why ? who knows) to meet for our first night at Horsey Mere, where the windmill is. Our friends had a short journey from Martham, which looks to be about 3 miles We had to travel from Wroxham, which is 17 miles .. a long way on a boat. We even arrived at the Potter Heigham after the bridge pilots had gone home for the day. Dad, who had actually been a keen sailor/boatsman for many years went through anyway. When we finally arrived at Horsey Mere our friends asked .. what kept you ? It was a great holiday and we returned again the following year, this time three families, all hiring Moores boats🛥🛥🛥
GaryGuevara The U Boat Wolfpack's have been banned from the Broads since 1980. And from 1986 Broad Cruiser's were no longer required to sail in convoys.

This chemical toilet is a Saniflow 33. Now this little babe can cope with anything, and I mean anything. Earlier on I put in a pound of mashed-up Dundee cake. Let’s take a look. Not a trace. Peace of mind I’m sure, especially if you have elderly relatives on board.
For a British holiday with a difference on a boat, always choose Hamilton’s Water Breaks. With the melting of the polar ice caps, most of East Anglia will be underwater in the next thirty years. So make the most of the stunning fens before the floods come, causing a little concern for these local farmers I chatted to. This is my wife and I going off to the local marketplace, where we could buy anything from plimsolls to posters of famous Hollywood stars.

All I can think of is Alan Partidge's promotional video for Hamilton's Water Breaks.
Ha ha ha! Priceless!
LOL yes,

Mad Biker 3020 Thanks mate! Priceless!
Bob Mathews l’m pretty sure this guy could sue Steve Cougan for copyright.
Expected to see a group of angry farmer's on a bridge
I just knew if I clicked on this, the comments section would be filled with Alan Partridge references.
Same.. came only for the Alan Partridge references
Absolutely hilarious. Now we know where Steve got it all from.
Wonderful to watch! Roys is still there in Wroxham and doing well!

I love this area I just wish I never left it
Me too

Waterway to have a great time.
That joke is so washed out
Well I’m going to barge in and say nothing
Only 20 drownings in the last 5 years...yikes!
Perhaps the Broads should have been closed to the public on safety grounds?
Twenty drownings in five years seems like a lot. I think the canon has some 'splainin' to do!
People were' tougher back then! They took risks!

That shop sells off shop soiled chocolate oranges.
“Here they are now Morecambe and Wise...”
Had our honeymoon in 75 on the Norfolk Broads rumour has it there were several tidal waves that year 🥰😜

😂😂
Brilliant, I pissed myself when I read that! Thank you
Was that the vicar from Dick Emery ?
Dundee cake ok but if you got a bratwurst stuck in one of these babies then it was an SOS to the boatyard
'Causes of accidents?' Er, how about casually sitting on the side of a boat, with one foot on the dock, and not concentrating on what you are doing?
Or overloading a rowing boat lol
Only 20 deaths lol 😂 If it we’re a roller coster with that record it would have been shut down years ago!
If it'd been a roller coaster the canon probably wouldn't show up in a boat, either
That's from several million idiots over 5 years.
Nice "rally coat". Keeps out those waterway chills. Ten on ten.
Lovely stuff.
3'30 ... there's a gentlemen in cream chinos with a navy blazer with an emblem motif insignia patch... First Alan.
Brilliant 👏 this should be an advert for 'Crocs rubberized shoes' .
Water way to have a good time
That's a fetching blue pleather mac.

"Hey, look ! There's a Canon on that boat !" "Frig me ! I didn't know that was included !"

Absolutely brilliant 😂😂😂😂
Never mind the life jackets as first priority but make sure that you have a decent pair of plimies on lol 75 brilliant times of life
Where’s Partridge when you need him?
Haha! "Only 20 drownings in the past 5 years"
Aye, hardly worth mentioning.
Life was cheap in 1975.

@GaryGuevara But is it unbeaten as of today?
In 1981, no one died... in 1982, no one died... in 1983, I could go on.
You’ll struggle to get a three piece suite on one of those pleasure crafts.
Don't worry i tested the toilet with an kilo of Dundee cake which would give you peace of mind if you have elderly relatives.

How old the journalist now?
😎
Why drag 'Rude screens' into it? Tut.
Abroad? Are you calling me a puff like?
£28 a week per head-yes please that would not even fill the car for the journey there 🌻😁🍦
Interesting that you feel the need to disable your comments section on the Churches of East London video today? hmmm, I wonder why?
Mike Parkinson - I searched for that video but couldn’t find it. Can you post a link please?
Classic dreary English holiday weather.
In 75, yes - but 60 years later look what global warming has done!
Spent a week on The Broads a couple of years ago in October. The most miserable week of my life.
Haha.
Oh well.
Fast H Racing It only got better when it rained
@@briansparks8528 Yes it was a welcome break from the sleet and shivering in a "boat" that had no heating in it as it was broken
Try pedestrianising that
Pretty interesting
20 drownings Bahhhhhhh that’s nothing 😱
