4 only got a dub with the SE, which came like 7 years after vanilla DMC4.
Yeah, it's strange. The first time Dante and Vergil got Japanese voices in a game was Marvel 3, and they kept Toshiyuki Morikawa's Dante from the anime a couple years prior.

I, too, got my first "Easy Mode is now Selectable" dying to the Hell Vanguard.
DMC3 was my first hack&slash game, I played it together with my classmate after class back in 2007.
She was too hard on herself for picking easy, I and literally every DMC fan I know, including pros, played their first game on easy before eventually working up to normal.
Normal kicks your ass the first time.
I'm honestly impressed by that Virgil fight. I've seen a lot of V tubers and just normal UA-camrs play up to this point and kinda beat Virgil out of luck and item spam alone. The fact she learned Virgil's basic pattern has already earned my respect.

She also learned of the boss' patterns and utilized rush style to its fullest she can get
With a game like Devil May Cry it's very easy for new players to fall into spamming the same attacks over and over through the game. Don't hold it against them. These games are hard for newcomers lmao

Love how she stopped playing to practice since she was dying to much, and then she became really good at dodge rolling, unlike Gura who by the end of DMC 5 didnt knew basic gameplay mechanics and just spammed Streak against the final boss

@@BygoneT Well practicing and actually getting good at the game wasn't the point of her playthrough. The point was to experience the cool characters, fun gameplay and story of a game she likes and share it with her fans. Most fans likely didn't care about her admittedly poor performance because they just liked seeing her reactions to the cool and wacky shit in the game. That's how I felt at least, because I know what kind of games these are. DMC isn't a game made for "casual gamers", they are made for people who play things like fighting games. Ones that take time and patience to master.
I love how she's also invested in the story and not just the gameplay
