I believe she tore her hamstring and her doctor was larry nassar at the time. She believed she wasnt given the treatment she couldve gotten by a worldclass physician..
She was beaming at the end of the routine. She mentioned she assumed she would qualify and didn’t see it going any other way. Not because she was cocky but because it was logical considering the past results. But her teammates were creeping up on her and peaked at the Olympics when she peaked the year before. It was a gradual shift which is why it was so shocking when they qualified ahead of her.
Everyone saying she’s overrated do you realize this is one of her worst performances and the team doctor was sexually assaulting her instead of trying to get her healthy
@@running_girl5512 this is literally the worst thing anyone has ever said to me in gymnastics comment section. Are you out of our fucking mind? One she was still injured 2. People are not going to react the same way bc that’s something no one should go through. 3. As if her whole team being sexually harassed means that what said is discounted. Jordyn was a great gymnast that’s why she was world champion that’s why she’s an Olympic champion And finally seriously dude why the actual fuck would you say this. What we’re trying to even say. Do think the other girls on the team would appreciate this. That was disgusting
@@running_girl5512 not everyone was abused the same way and did you actually use trauma to even out the playing field? Lol you must so stupid. Hopefully you get sexually abused also just for you to understand. Cheers
@@edwardlopez8722 i dont think she would have won gold even if she qualified to AA. Gabby was just too strong on AA day. It was as though the stars, moon and sun aligned for Gabby to win the AA title
She was overrated I mean the only reason she won world's in 2011 was because komova couldn't stick her landings on the floor exercise. Also Gabby and Aly were way way better than her, I don't know how ppl could believe she was an all around champion. Kyla was a better AA alternative than her.
Souraj Krishnan lol....No. Kyla never beat her in a major AA event. Jordyn had way more difficultly on FX. Jordyn had a consistent Amanar from the age of 13. She was a world beam medalist, as well.
Overrated! Seriously?!?! The Facts: She was the 2011 and 2012 US National All Around Champion and 2011World All Around Champion. She deserved to win Worlds because Komova couldn’t stick her landings ... or perform many of her dance elements properly. Nobody was “way better” than anybody. Jordan missed qualifying for the all-around by less than .3 of a point and was ranked 4th in the competition, but couldn’t go because of the 2 per country rule. Gabby had been nipping at Jordan’s heals all of 2012, but the real surprise was Ally, who I didn’t expect to beat her. Furthermore, Kyla began to peak in all around competition after 2012. But we all know what happened then - Queen Biles - and Kyla faded away.
@epiphronn What do you mean "USAG scoring"? Do you think the scoring system was invented by USAG or something lmao?! And no, she won it =/= she deserved it. Because she didn't. Not after that bars routine. And stepping out of bounds on floor.
1:07 her split is literally 120 degrees 🤦♀️😂

120 degrees? You're very generous.
Love her floor routine.

Stunning floor routine. She is one of the best of all time! Haters are just upset because America has so many insanely talented gymnasts lol
Honestly I believe if she would’ve qualified, she would have been on that podium. Aliya Mustafina is my fav. but it’s the truth.
She did qualify but did not medal.
for the individual all around. It was Aly & Gaby
