How much time did this process take?
Not long, it takes me more time to film, than to do the job and I was doing other jobs as well like valve guide seals, when I did this, probably took me 2-3 hours on this, with moving camera angles checking sound etc, also dealing with rusty bolts, with radiator cowel, so I could get better access and better view to film probably would take an hour if I wasn’t filming

What year and model is your ML? I have an 2003 ML500 and my water pump pulley is a little wobbly so I'm going to have to replace the water pump soon. I'm just wondering if it's the same procedure as for yours. Thanks

wasnt there a diesel line that blocket the 2 middle upper bolts on this?
Not on mine there was the pipe I released at 2.54 in the video that was clipped in with a push in clip on to the water pump but all bolts removed prior to this, I had also removed the fan unit/cover for better filming and better access, as I was also doing valve guide seals and timing, check out my other videos if you want to see how I removed this
Wrenching with rings and watches on, that's very bad. Precise video, tho, but a few details missing. Bolt torques anyone?
