1)Build the Base
Use the Build Tool to prepare your defenses.
2)Protect the Mobile HQ
The enemy horde will try to annihilate your defense.
Be mindful, the Mobile HQ cannot be repaired once it's damaged!
3)Defeat the Horde
The Arachnid Horde is Inbound.
The Mobile HQ must be defended.

I played this on early access, then played helldivers 2. It will never be the same anymore. This game indeed feels dull. There’s no sense of crisis with overwhelming bugs like in HD2, it’s like camping compared to the bugs in HD2
I can tell it's dull just by looking at it, I don't even have to play it. HD2 is much more overwhelming, action oriented & cinematic, this SST Extermination game just looks boring & slow paced.

Ik what you're referring to! Sadly theres no "reporter" role, they recreated the role using the aim of a rocket gun as a camera. I wish I could tell you the channel but I forget too xd

I agree. Several mobile games have the tables reversed where you're the alien or creature and Exterminate Humanity is your only goal with a variety of special abilities and items. Or just be the opposition to the starter unit
Or maybe you could invade their game and you get to be a boss bug who commands other bugs. In like a 16v4 pvp game mode or something

@@ranchbdressing9696 I get that. This is a game my older brother is pining over, it's all he wants. I still think it looks alright but probably gets stale pretty quick, a lot of people will probably not even play it just because of how it looks.
@swaggadash9017 well all due respect we as the general playerbase don't play it just for that. If all you want is graphics then just don't ply man. More to a game then graphics the video doesn't do the hordes justice. They come and come and come and it's like the movie and that stuff is what we play it for. They keep coming g out with more enemies maps and all that so we as the people who have already played it will continue to let them cook with this one.
Look, I understand this is a beta and not the final product, but come on, this is exactly what we mean when they release incomplete, poorly designed games and sell them as if they were triple-A titles, despite not delivering what they promise. The enemies pass through walls and move like a PNG, and the graphics look too cardboard-like when the main strength is supposed to be a cinematic feel. Anyone playing this would only know it's Starship Troopers because of the arachnid, because everything else feels way too out of place.

mm, guns don't look satisfactory, limited impacts on the bugs...those red lines indicating bugs removes the surprise of seeing one around the corner... missing lights effects on the guns when bullets exit the canon.... IDK, looks like a beta version to me....
It can use less "The base is under attack" voice. Yes obviously the base will be under attack.
That tells you where the next wave is going to come from

DUDE I HATE when games do the shit where they highlight the enemy. and then the enermy will stay highlighted through walls etc. i really wish they would stop it. like, nobody ever asked for that feature. Why even put so much money into character design if you're just going to turn the whole damn thing red?

The problem in this game is that each bug has too much life. Nobody wants to shoot 1 bug for that long. Cut the health in half and double the amount of bugs…..hell triple it ; also there’s absolutely zero bug limbs getting torn off when shooting. Only when an explosive goes off do you actually see limbs fly. They have it inverted…..how can you make a Starship troopers game without any limbs flying when you shoot at them??? Embarrassing. Also the glowing red bugs is also ridiculous and needs to be removed. Not sure what the devs were thinking
Well things could change also bugs are supposed to be strong
The sound is rough,that gun sounds like someone trying to start a car or a tractor,the guns should be punchy,they should be the loudest thing in the game,even when someone is standing beside you shooting you can barely hear their weapon.

It’s 2024 and this looks like an arcade game.
There is soooo much they could do to improve this... turn it over to DICE/EA to make it sort of along the lines of Battlefield 2042 with all the different ground and air vehicles. Great music in this game - that's for sure.

@@PatrulescuDenis Because they keep stuffing around with the difficulty, nerfing weapons, buffing the bugs and doing other general annoying things to make the game less fun. They had it perfect a few months ago but changed things because people complained about non-sensical things. Even this latest update, which they said was supposed to make the game more fun, is an absolute pain in the butt because now the tiniest little bugs can one-hit you and you die, all because somebody complained about dying from one hit in the head. It's a freaking head shot! Chances are you WOULD die from one hit to the head. And the amount of times that even happens is like once every 50 games. So now you die from a little, harmless bug literally brushing past your toe. Yay! Brilliant. Once again, in an attempt to artificially manufacture "balance" they've gone done the opposite and broken the game again. It's so bloody annoying and is killing the game.

First person view destroy the game in my opinion,, its hundred times better in third person
This looks like it belongs next to Time Crisis at an arcade. Graphics are mid. Bugs glitch. fire looks better on an old gen console. Voice overs are repetitive. Recoil is nonexistent which makes aiming and killing just boring. You could crawl to extraction. The list goes on. I had high hopes for this game and got Helldivers 2 to get my bug fix but I’m glad I have that. This is as empty as it gets.
Jesus you people have no taste. He'lldiver is absolute garbage compared to how far this has come from the movie in the 90s. Helldiversdid nothing but copy this and terminators to make their game.
