Hello. They are authentic G-star Raw jeans. It is pretty funny to listen you (do not get offence :)), because you show stitching in inner side and say it different, while the stitching that you showed is better in the jeans you think they are fake, in your authentic jeans there are extending threads. Feeling of fabric depends on denim they use, treatment process that jeans went in factory. Label, buttons etc. may vary in the same model, but it can depends on wash too and variations of model. G-star Raw made their products all over the world, New Radar Slim do not have to be made in Italy. Price, it will be long story. When I start to sell clothes, I spotted that G-star Raw went very low, because they allow to release lot of factory seconds (means that, there can be extending threads, some mistake in stitching, no additional fabric in back pocket, lack of something, etc. etc.) in outlets and they are very cheap. Like for example in my country there is TKMAXX retail chain and they are selling G-star Raw jeans like for 15€ or even cheaper, I bought on huge sale RE Arc 3d loose tapered from Raw Essentials line from limited edition for about 4€, while retail worth is over about 350€ and yes they are totally genuine, because in my country there is law that prohibits to sell fakes and other thing TKMAXX has agreements with brands that is selling, that they will not sell fakes (I know this from employee of TKMAXX), so price is not evidence of authenticity. Label and paper tag are genuine, back patch is leather, you get this feel, because of process that were made on leather. Every details do not have be perfectly the same in the same model, it can also depends on wash, place of made or if it is factory second it may differ too. Overall sleep well you got genuine product, keep them, wear them, because they are real G-star Raw jeans.
I agree with you. I trade in G-Star on Ebay and have my stock from a UK outlet that has a licence from G-Star to sell their products. The ones on Amazon are usually from a batch that are G-Star's returns and those pairs that failed quality assessments. A few years ago G-Star were in financial trouble and sold off tens of thousands of units to wholesalers and outlets. That's why there are thousands available new on Ebay. There are also multiple variations of the exact same product, dependant on where they were manufactured and when. I've seen radar designs that are definitely poor quality, and I even contacted the G-Star stylists for confirmation and they told me they could tell they were real from the stitching inside. Different buttons, sometimes unbranded on the inside (no g-star stamping) different rivets (also sometimes unbranded)... I've seen a huge range from extremely high quality 5620 Motion designs, down to some really shoddy quality radar, new radar and 3301s.
Additional note, I'm moving onto Amazon soon with my business and checked a bunch of the listings for G-Star Products. They were all sold and dispatched by Amazon. This means they have been supplied legitimately, likely by G-Star themselves, and could not possibly be counterfeit.

They could be of poor quality, sure, as if you see G-Star's online Trustpilot score you can see there are tonnes of returns. I've personally handled a load that are not great quality, but are certainly genuine. But Amazon are super strict about the legitimacy of their products. Even third party sellers have to become ungated in various segments, let alone the brands too, before they can sell the product.
Thanks for this video. I LOVE G Star jeans and was tempted to buy a new pair today for sale for $40 (Aus) in a charity shop. This video helped me to understand a lot more - they were fakes! As you would know (and you mention at the end) the main reason G Star cost more is because of the fabric quality. You can tell just by the look and feel of the fabric.
Is it a must to be printed in white like “ RAW REVENED Straight” or “RAW ARC 3D Slim” or it is not a must cause I have 3 pairs of G Star and all are ARC 3D Slim two are printed from inside with white printing and the other one is not and All other things are the same !!! Is there any clarification please if anyone knows about it #GSTAR #RAW #JEANS ...
Hey Nadar. Its fine for the print to be a different color. G Star will vary the colors but keep thr letter fonts the same style. compare the way the font is printed.
