- A fairly comprehensive investigation of the TerraTrike EVO recumbent trike, its components, the Kiox display and the eBike Connect Application. The TerraTrike EVO is an eTrike with a 250 W emotor giving the rider a thrilling experience from a comfortable seat, great exercise with less stress on the knees, hips shoulders and hands. The Kiox display gives the rider all the information that is necessary on a simple to operate control panel and color screen. The eBike Connect App sums up each and every ride with a variety of information such as distance, ride time, total distance speed, cadence, and rider power output just to name a few. Thank you. 😊 It has been quite a blast getting used to it. Not only the ins and outs of riding it but strengthening the different muscles it uses. Turbo 😎 my favorite mode 👊 How fast will it go?
This Bosch is a Class 1 motor, so it assists pedaling up to 20mph. Any speed gained after that is rider power. Haven't really tested full speed yet, but I probably could get up to 25mph without too much problem. Turbo is great for riding up steep hills. Takes a ton of pressure off my old knees and makes getting up to speed quick and easy. Helps the legs spin like a windmill! 😆Thanks for watching.
Is the seat adjustable for leg length .
Hello @daveslivinski8941. The seat is connected to the frame with one bolt underneath. There are two bolt slots two inches apart. I am 5' 10" tall and have the seat in the back slot. The boom is adjusted for leg length after selecting the seat slot. This entails adding or subtracting chain lengths as necessary. The bike shop did this for me when I purchased the bike. Any other adjustments to the boom may require adding or subtracting chain length on this particular trike.I hope I answered your question, and thanks for watching. Richard
