The following summer we convinced another friend’s parents to let us build a beach volleyball court in the back of their (very large) back yard. Of course we always played with an official Steve Timmons brand volleyball! Absolutely surreal to rewatch this in 2023. I bet all those former Soviet players were happy to play for their mother countries in 1992 and actually get to have their names printed on their shirts!

Eles somente voltaram ao time no início de 92, mas kiraly foi o único que não aceitou o convite, pois já havia migrado em definitivo para AVP, vôlei de praia. Karch Kiraly was the Assistant Coach along with Assistant Coach Paula Weishoff under Head Coach from New Zealand, Hugh McCutcheon in London Olympics 2012 that won the Silver and lost to Brazil. And he's Karch Kiraly is the Head Coach for the Team USA in Women's Volleyball in Rio Olympics 2016 that won the Bronze, and won the first Gold Medal defeating two time Gold Medalist from Brazil in Tokyo Olympics 2020.
