2021 Alpinestars SP-8 V3 gloves review

For 2021, the Alpinestars SP-8 V3 gloves replace the SP-8 V2 glove. Men's gloves are available in 4 colors and ladies' gloves are available in 3 colors. Men's sizes range from Small to 4XL and ladies' sizes range from Xtra Small to XL.

Why do you think the extra padding on the palm of the v2 is a safety issue? also thanks for the review!
I have the the 2nd version of the sp8's that aren't the v2 but not the original ones either and I love the way they fit and feel but am looking to upgrade to something that has a touch screen finger, saw the V2's on clearout and just discovered the v3's.
are the v3's worth it over the clearout price of the v2's? I prefer the style of the v2's more but the touchscreen finger of the v3 looks alil bigger/better.
