I have enjoyed this video more than any other on UA-cam in a long time. I especially loved Nicklaus' second shot on the 18th at St. Andrews. I had the opportunity to play a round on the Old Course and whenever I see the stone bridge and the clubhouse in the background, I get excited.
I have several watches from the brand, and without a doubt, they exude all that history and tradition.

Gave up waiting after 2 yrs on an imaginary registered list of interest .. bought myself one new easily from a uk authorised dealer in 2007 but the way your dealers treat customers theses days is disgusting whilst selling to flippers & friends via the back door & earning money of your backs… you should be ashamed of yourselves & instead of posting self praising videos it needs rectifying urgently.. your dealers have dragged you down into the dirt Rolex your name stands for nothing now don’t kid yourselves..
The brand wasn't in the retail business directly until very recently.
You should blame the distributor you went to that did not entertain your asks.
The brand is probably the most well known brand in the world of timekeeping.
The oyster. The dedication to solve typical problems in watchmaking. The use of interesting materials (like their bleu parachrom and paraflex) and approaches.
They didn't get to this point by accident. The genie may have whispered the name but it didn't make it fly magically.

Thats why Rolex vet them & make sure their showrooms are exactly as Rolex require before giving them watches to sell.
Which makes Rolex 100% responsible for the farce along with the AD’s👍🏻
