In today's episode of Restorations with Vick, he received a pair of player exclusive Oregon Air Jordan 4s from our good friend @jcollector23 from Chicago. This specific pair is a sample that was given to Oregon Football players with their numbers on the inside. To get the job done, Vick used Angelus to make the midsole look brand new again. The original midsole had a bit of a gloss to it and the green metallic on the heal tab can be redone with metallic heat transfer paper. I watched another restore on some gucci shoes and they had metallic red on them in a snake skin pattern that the guy did a pretty great job on. Step outside your comfort zone, great results are waiting for you.

Why did he use his thumb to scratch the white midsole paint off 😂
He explains it in the video. With how old the sneakers are, the midsoles could potentially get damaged using acetone. This is the safest method when working on older soles. It also provides the smoothest results.
