Thanks for sharing. I like L.Axe! Ratt is my favorite band! MEGADETH is my favorite thrash band! And Stryper and Whitecross are my favorite Christian bands! God bless you buddy!
Thanks for watching. I'm with you with Megadeth as my fave thrash band, and Ratt is definitely top 5 for me (with the number of bands I love that means something). Thanks again🤟
I've been watching a lot of these videos lately since I'm a huge Glam Metal fan. I bought the first Lillian Axe on cassette when I was a kid and have been getting some of their CDs lately. I just listened to Poetic Justice and it's great. Looking forward to more videos!
Hey Steve. That's great thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. This band had great musicianship, maybe a bit heavier then some, but enough songs that were commercial enough to break. Just didn't happen. Maybe the right tour or more lable support would've made the difference. Thanks again for the support.🤟
A top-notch choice! I’m extremely fortunate to live in Dallas and have had the pleasure of seeing Lillian Axe play a number of times - though it’s been a few years now. Steve Blaze, Ron Taylor, and Darrin Delatte were always kind enough to speak with me for a few moments when I approached before or after a show. Lillian Axe still performs periodically. Ron and Darrin have an acoustic duo that plays regularly in the DFW under the Taylor-Delatte moniker while also continuing their rock band, Lowside. As many have said and I agree, they should have been more successful. All the key pieces were in place - mad talent and killer musical chops - but the business of rock and the fates will have their way. That said, I’m grateful for the music, the memories, and the chance to meet three amazingly talented people. Thank you for featuring this amazing band on your channel.
Hey Todd thanks for the words and support. Someone else mentioned that they played TX a lot. Glad you have cool memories. Thanks for sharing, commenting and watching.🤟
Thank you for covering Lillian Axe. A great band, in fact my favorite. I encourage everyone them to check them out. From Womb To Tomb, their latest, is seriously epic.
I was lucky enough to see this band in small clubs when they first released the debut and remember them like yesterday. Those days were the best big hair, wild women and great music 🎵. Lillian Axe will always be one of my favorites from that era such cool dude’s especially Steve Blaze.
Great memories. Those days were the best. Guess that's why we all love them so much and enjoy revisiting them. I'm also encouraged that a lot of younger fans are loving this music too. Thanks to thier parents love of the decade and let's face it the music was awesome. Same way i appreciate chuck berry, buddy holly, etc..Thanks for watching! 🤟
I love when I find Lillian Axe on sites. They r truly 1 of the most underrated bands ever. Ron Taylor truly has one of the best voices and great stage performance. I live that new generations r getting the opportunity 2 hear them and people get 2 here the vocals of Ron Taylor. With the right record label back in the day they I am sure would have been one the largest metal bands around. If u really want 2 find something that would be awesome if u could come up with some footage I'd Bittersweet which was the band Ron was in from Dallas before he joined Stiff. By the way Ron is one of the nicest guys ever. Thanks 4 putting them out there.
Hey Dean . Thanks for talking our advice and covering such a great band . They should have been way bigger than they were , but the record label they were on really screwed them over . I was excited to see your new video and that it was a recommendation from myself . I wish I knew a way to help you grow this channel because you do great work my friend . I didn't know Jani had a chance to be in the band , I am just thinking maybe this could of been what broke them into the big time, but nonetheless the band was still amazing and was spun quite a lot and still is by myself . Thanks again and have a great week . If you haven't heard of the band Shakra you should check them out , they are my all time favorite band , absolutely amazing . 🤘🤘
Hey Brien. Thanks again for the kind words, and watching. If you have friends that love the music like we do, feel free to share these videos. I learn something new every time I do one of these, I had no idea about Jani Lane either. I appreciate your support thanks🤘
@@bringbackrock1457 Yes I will do that . Unfortunately I don't have many friends that do enjoy this music , but I'll try my best to spread the word . No problem at all about watching , I am happy to help out my friend . Take care . See ya next time !
Great choice!! Been a huge fan since I bought their debut on cassette as a kid in 88. Great band and should have been huge. Steve is an underrated guitarist and Ron has one of the best voices in the genre. Too bad MCA didn’t give them much support. One of my favorite bands!
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it. I thought they had a ton of potential. They were pretty heavy, but had some sings that were commercial enough to be hits. Labels had a lot of power back then with tour support videos etc. Some of the bands I love never even got to make a video. In the MTV age you had to have one to have any chance at all. Thanks again for watching and commenting.🤟
Love that first album. Got it on cassette back in 88 after the local college station played Laughing In Your Face.
Great song. Love how people remember the first time they heard something. Thanks for watching/commenting.🤟

One of my all time favorite bands. Those first 4 albums are all classics. I lost all interest when Ron left, his voice is irreplaceable.
I've heard that quite a bit. I focused on up to the original break up. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
All of their albums are great.
The albums after Ron left are very good
Love & War was my favorite album.
Really liked the first 2 myself. Hard to choose. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤟
I'm dating myself a bit, but I still have the "Stiff" lp on cassette. "If it aint Stiff, it ain't worth a fuck." Long live "Paulo's Living Room"!!!
@TheEndOfYou2 very cool. Thanks for watching 🤟
