Customize AOD
Put up GIFs and customized AMOLED images as always on display images. There’s a limited set of GIFs already in the Galaxy Note 10 under the lock screen always on clock styles. For more AMOLED always on display wallpaper, download and install Walloop. Go into gallery, hit menu and set it as always on display image.
Enable Custom EdgeLighting for each app
Note 10 can llight up your screen every time you get a notification from an app with a unique color that belongs to just that app.
Measure Stuff!
Use Quick Measure app that utilizes the TOF 3D sensor to measure stuff around you.
Edge Panels
Configure your edge panels to get quick access to apps, contacts, information or tools that you need from time to time without always digging into the apps.
Screen Recorder with Voice Recording and S Pen Input
Pin Screen-Off memo to Always on Display
Now, never forget a reminder as it shows on your always on display all the time.
Bixby Routines

The Bixby routines is one of my favorite settings. Once i get to work, my phone sets to silent, and my instant apps list switch to work oriented apps. When i go to my movie theater, my phone automatically switches to do not disturb so if i enter a little late i don't even have to worry about my phone not being on silent. then there's automatic WiFi turn on when i get home. It's just so versatile but you have to set it up! It's one of my favorite Samsung settings!
It's really under rated

In the beginning of your video (0:34), how do you get notifications to appear as a line of text the top? Reminds me of the old scrolling alerts from the past.

Did not know that I could change the edge colour by app. So that's good to know. 👍Others, I simply don't use as much. 😅 Oh I do use Routines though.

Gits on AOD is NOT always on. AOD can be shut off. Yes, I do use mesure with TOF and I also use side panel.
Except for a gif in always on display I use the rest 😂

How did you find the cameras on this phone? I'm disappointed with them tbh. I have the exynos9825 version and low photos are bad. Apart from the lack of a 90Hz display panel which Samsung should have had the decency to put in. Thanks for lively video. Just subscribed too 😉
I have 10+, coming from s9 I am seeing big improvement, so depends what you are used to I guess.
@@psaunder1975 In normal daylight it is absolutely fine. The problems start at lowlight when noise which seems lila grain, starts to be evident. At this price tag I expected better in this department. My main disappointment is the lack of a 90 Hz display. It would have been a nice addition to such a refined phone. Thanks for replying.

My S10.. only tap screen twice "when screen active" the screen will lock.. when i tap twice in lock screen, the screen will active hehe

Be careful of how you set up the routines. I set up three at one time when I first got my Note 10 Plus, and it caused my phone to not have any data, and neither turning off data nor turning on airplane mode were in any part of either. The only thing I changed as far as "data" , was that I turned on wifi when I came home and off when I left. It was the damnedest thing. No one could figure it out and Best Buy even swapped out my phone, which kept the settings intact. One day something told me to disable Bixby altogether, and from that day, I have had no issues with this phone at all.

its not available for the note 10 lite..quick measure needs TOF sensor - which is unavailable in note 10 lite.

for some reason, I can personalize the notifi cation app colors only for 3 apps ( Viber and 2 standard message app) that's a bit confusing

How's the battery life like in the base note 10 ?
Base note 10 - not so great!
Battery Life is Great.. The regular note 10 is just a smaller version of the note 10 plus. That means the battery that comes in the regular 10 is much smaller than the plus but its exactly what u need for that smaller version.
Don't mean to sound like a dummy but I'm new to the Note series. I don't have the GIF in my lock screen clock options

The thing I hate about using GIFs in the AOD is that the clock is so darn small.

It does drain battery faster . Recommend you switch to tap to display....so it only shows when you tap on screen. Can save you about 10% a day.
Was using bixby routines ..however battery life is much better after turning them off!!😛
Well... Of course.. As many features you turn off, the more life you can get from your battery.
Especially turning off the always on display... That alone can save you 10% a day.

Why would anyone want to have a always on display with a moving image though? That kind of defeats their purpose of being battery efficient.
Why would someone want 300k Ferrari when you can get loaded Civic for tenth of the cost. It'll do the same job from going point A to Point B. People want extra gimmicky shit to flex

Has anyone else had an issue wirh the headphones on their note 10+? Everytime I hit the connector my UA-cam videos pause, or my music stops playing. Happens if I put phone in pocket as well... very annoying! What I have noticed though, is that the charger connector is bigger and doesn't have this issue. Is my headphone connector faulty? It is smaller than the charger which makes it loose, I think... appreciate any feedback on this as it is very frustrating. Cheers!
No have not seen this issue I have note 10+. It is standard behaviour that is the audio stops when a new device is connected or disconnected, but sounds like the plug perhaps is faulty.

@@sd-jq4pg no for the akg headphones it's plug is slightly thinner compared to to usb cable for charging. It is does sound like the phone usb port could be faulty.
Well there is a notification circle around the camera you just need to turn it on

I have modified my Galaxy S10, when it is first opened, only wallpaper is visible, there is no menu, and when activating the screen or lock the screen, just tap the screen twice. so you don't have to press the power button. #privacy hehe
