12:51 "How long would it take for someone to just guess these?" There are 16 levers, each with two states (up and down). The total number of possible combinations for this many levers is 2^16, which is equivalent 65536 combinations. Edit: I calculated the maximum amount of time it could take to guess the combination. Yes, it is likely you would get the combination correctly before this point.
thats not true at all, thats how long it would take to guess every combination, but since the system is 50/50 based you can cut your guess time in half, its extremely unlikely to get it wrong every time except the last one, and equally unlikely to get it right the first try, also there is no way DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDU would take 10 seconds to guess if the levers were in the DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD postion (D=down U=up) so your math is the EXTREME, and the most amount of time possible. i would say it would take about 1 and a half days

Yeah I coulda sworn "Omelette de Maron" contains the exact ingredients and some of the instructions (minus insulting Nick, the cameraman) used in the Jardon Poisons Himself episode.
I’m here early, so here’s a recipe I found online for banana bread: INGREDIENTS • 2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed) • 1/3 cup melted butter, unsalted or salted • 1 teaspoon baking soda • Pinch of salt • 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet) • 1 large egg, beaten • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour METHOD 1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan. 2 In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas. 3 Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour. 4 Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350°F (175°C), or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean. 5 Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let cool completely before serving. Slice and serve. (A bread knife helps to make slices that aren't crumbly.)
One time when I was younger, we had a furby that broke, so it couldn't turn off. The screws were worn down so we couldn't take out the batteries. Instead of throwing it away, I decided to cram it under a bunch of towels in a cabinet. At night, sometimes you could hear it crying.
So I'm at the part where jardon found the diamonds and he's like "there's just so many diamonds I gotta find them all and look in every nook and in every cranny" and I'm just thinking to myself "please it would be hilarious if the map maker makes you exchange those diamonds for apples" 😂😂😂
With that diamond level Jordan has figured out how it feels to play every single game with collectibles when you’re a completionist, constantly afraid you’re missing something only to get to the end of the game if it says 58/60
Here comes the math of guessing levers! So the total number of combinations is 2^(number of levers) which is 2^16 = 65,536. If you go trying them out in order of binary numbers the total number of lever swaps will be 1 for the first lever, 3 for the second one, 7 for the third one ... 2^n-1 for the n-th one. The sum of this is 2^(n+1)-1-n! For n=16 (not knowing any lever positions) you will need 131,054 lever swaps with this strategy. Say you flip one lever per second, you will need 36 hours 24 minutes and 14 seconds to try all the combinations, making this strategy quite unpractical. But lets say you found 2 of the 4 books, then you will "only" need 503 swaps, or 8 minutes and 23 seconds of guessing. Faster, but still might take longer than just finding the books. But if you have 3 out of the 4 books, you will need only 27 lever swaps to try all the combinations! Which means that just brute forcing the last 4 levers is a superior strategy to actually finding the book in most cases. Thanks for reading my comment! Hope you found it informative. Quick note: there are some strategies which use less lever swaps then the one i described but the lever swap reduction is not substancial and this strategy is quite easy to understand if you know how binary numbers work! Have a nice day!
12:50 "How long would it take someone to just guess these".. Welll: Its 16 binary digits, thats 65.536 possibilities, most of the time you have to flick at least 2 levers, with checking if door is open thats like 2-4 seconds.... lets avg at around 3 seconds, that will equal roughly 2,27 Days to try out every combination. But now it depends at which state u start, if you start with all levers DOWN, it will take u "only" 16,4 hours... but if you start with all levers UP, it will take roughly 38 hours.... yes i am fun at parties
This map feels like something that would have been made back when people didn't have as many map making tools, just remove the command blocks and replaced them with the player walking down a long hallway or ride down a rail track that would drop you into the next room and it would fit perfectly in that era of mapmaking.

INGREDIENTS
• 2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed)
• 1/3 cup melted butter, unsalted or salted
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet)
• 1 large egg, beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
METHOD
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
