I personally like the game. Sure it could use some polish here and there but it definitely makes steps in a very good direction. The level design is a bit lacking with mostly square blocks and without anything that makes use of Sonic's original momentum-based gameplay (though I'm very sure it's probably a nightmare to implement those into a game). However the forest stage is really great. It looks a bit basic but it does a great job at making use of Tails' ability. Since he has the ability to have increased vertical movement, stages for Tails should be build a bit higher than other stages to encourage exploration. Another point I'd like to address is the music. I don't really have much good to say about it though. The discovery of the dead animals has the standard distorted music. It fits well but it also feels a bit old. This can be ignored though because it still fits the scene. However the chase music doesn't fit all that well ( that's my subjective opinion though since music can convey different emotions to everyone). The chase scene should show tension but the music seems to lack this somehow. Usually the Drown-theme is used and while I do appreciate that something new was tried, it doesn't feel all that fitting. Lastly the constant character portrait in the corner is awesome. It portraits the current emotion the character is experiencing and it does so very well. I'd actually say there should be more portraits. Tails should be expressing more resolve to find Sonic since after the reveal of the dead animals, he knows that the stakes are high. A little critique is that they might feel a bit big on the screen and a bit distracting. I might suggest to make the line behind the portrait a bit smaller but not so small that it's essentially just the portrait since it would feel very out of place. Perhaps the line could be changed for each area to fit into the situation. It should blend into the scene and not stick out too much. All in all the portraits are very original and should really be expanded further. Other than all those points, I do agree with others to have someone proofread the game. It's not much since one can still understand what's meant but it makes the game much easier to comprehend. This game has a lot of potential and I hope we'll see more of it

There's a few things that could have been done more carefully, such as the background and the grammar. Pretty generic fangame in general, with repetitive and some times predictable gameplay.
