Thanks buddy, It really is quite loud in person but quite addictive, I find myself speeding up just to roll off the power to make it pop. Its well worth it. :) My friend the cameraman in this video said the exhaust has to be heard in person to hear really how loud it is, we were in the middle of the hills and he could hear me from over a mile away :) Just as well it was during the day I filmed this and not at 3am in the morning :) The exhaust is a good safety feature, people know I'm there.
I've bought one on those exhausts and I must admit! it sounds flipping awesome! There is no better exhaust for FZ1/FZ1S on the whole market! Mostly available from ebay.ie but still.. wotrh every penny! ;) Thank you for this vid!
Thanks mate, I have to agree with you on that one, nothing else in the flesh has sounded better than that exhaust for this bike when I had it. You are very welcome buddy :)
Thanks mate, the exhaust in the video hasn't got the baffle in no. Quite loud mate, worth it though, people know I'm there. Good safety feature. Darren
Hey man, For the MOT it is not a problem as the Cat is still in place, all I have to do is put the Db Killer back in and it takes less than 10 seconds with this exhaust as all you need is pliers. It is really loud and is 117 Db without the Db killer in. With the Db killer in you are looking at 96 Db so are just under the 98 Db limit in the U.k so you are fine public roads and most track days. I have no other Mods in mind at present, the bike pulls strong and is very reliable with this setup. :)
Don't have the bike any more but it was pretty loud, I would say after an hour or so it would get a bit deafening but its all down to the rider. Never bothered me and if it gets that bad on a long trip there is always ear plugs, bike sounded just too good restrict the sound. Cheers :) Darren
Hi, I got to ask, what you going to do for the MOT? It must be over the limit? and do you know what decibel it is? For trackdays, they can get pretty strict on noise down here sometimes. Are you going to modify any further? Exup, Cat removed, and PC3 installed and airbox mod?
That popping is so nice. To think that it's only a slip on too.
Love the over run pop and crackle on that exhaust... sounds brilliant.

When touring or doing long day rides, How is the drone from this pipe? Does it get too annoying?
