honestly, the weapon art for the hammer should be Smough's charge. L2 would put the player in a stance holding the hammer to the side of them like a spear, and then charge quickly forward with large heavy steps as plumes of dust form on the ground as you go. An r2 continuation would thrust the hammer upwards over the left shoulder and then slam it overhead into the ground with a medium sized lighting ring aoe. Overall, this attack should do nearly 900 to 1100 damage if all attacks connect and at the same time, uppercut and then flatten them in sequence. Damn.. why didn't they just add that?
what is the point of duel welding that. you can only attack with one at a time. it doesn't do more damage and it doesn't make it faster. and like you said it takes up a good portion of the screen.
That running R1 Katana user made me angry. Too many times have they broken my Hyperarmor at 54 Poise exactly the same way they did with you here with that running R1. For some reason they found it fair to give it the same amount of impact as the Falling Bolt skill from the Dragonslayer Greataxe.
