when i look at my past journals that i i see that my style has changed a lot and i like how i journal now and the things that i put in there and just have fun with it and stuff if i just write on the page without no decorating i just leave it like that and do not stress about it but cute journals
Hi Elizabeth my name is Maryann Garofalo I love all your videos I was wondering if you could help me I have the tendency of of writing and writing every little thing My days are usually all the same I would like to summarize my writing but once I put that pen to the paper I can't stop myself from just writing and writing I like how you just write a little any advice on how to summarize my writing?
Thank you so much 😊 Great question…there is nothing wrong with writing and writing, there is no right way, do what makes you comfortable. There are no rules: ie using one page per day, using a double page layout per day or even doing anything per day, or using multiple pages per day. What I’m comfortable doing is writing snippets, and I usually write in chronological order beginning with when I get up, then going through the events of my day as they happen (I keep a separate diary to keep track of the goings on, then design and write my journaling the next day). When I say snippets…here’s what I mean: Woke at 5am. Coffee on dock, beautiful sunrise. Went for walk. Ran errands-grocery, Dollar Tree and Walmart. Home to relax. Dinner at Mawmaw’s-yummy pot roast. Watched Cold Case. If something funny or irritating or otherwise sticks in my brain, I take a tag and write about the situation in more detail then put it in a pocket or tape it in for a tip in. Hope this helps 😉 Again, do what makes you comfortable, there are no rules! Be well 🕊️
