- Well hello there!
This is Part 2 - A Snowy Scape. I thought it would be fun to see what's under water in winter!
Of course, that would be according to my own imagination based on one of my favorite little thrifted vintage winter paintings. I enjoyed pairing this sweet scene with a little nano tank and some super tiny inhabitants!

Most original scape I've seen on UA-cam in ages
Oh wow Joanna that looks spectacular. It's amazing the way that the tank scape lines up with the landscape in the picture. It's perfect the way the picture flows continuously through the tank. I've always loved pictures with snow, animals and snow covered trees. And I just have to say that this beautiful. And I hope you keep these together and give us an update on how it all is. It's been well worth the wait for the reveal. Thanks Joanna.
Thanks so much, Cathy! You’re so kind!
Brilliant! I love the tank. Jazzy music is fitting also. 😊
It’s beautiful! I love the Blue Dream Shrimp in it.
I also love the background music you added.
snowball shrimp would go along nicely with your theme.
Heck ya they would! (except I wouldn’t be able to see them) but cute nonetheless. 😊
So tiny and beatifull 😍
Very inspiring! Great job Joanna! Look forward to seeing more scapes inspired by art!
Thank you so much, Wendy! 😊
I really like this scape. Dang it ~ now I have to watch the part 1. 😂 Always enjoy watching your creations!
Beautiful little creation. Such a novel idea to use the picture as a backdrop for the scape. Excited to see this evolve through out the year.
Thank you so much, Angie!
I enjoyed the build, and loved the music.
Very peaceful. 💙🤍 I like the simplicity of the plants too. I hope you have a great day!
You’ve got that right, Cheryl! It’s sitting in the hall on a dresser and it is exactly that…peaceful 🩵🙂❄️ Hope you’re all doing well ?!
That is so brilliant and so cute. Your so talented Joanna.
Thank you so much, Liz 😊
Super cute!
This is so interesting and really well executed Joanna. Awesome
Thank you so much!😊
Great idea, love it!
Such a cool idea well executed! Everything flows well from the background to the tank. So cool.
Thanks, Adam !😊
So inspiring!!!
I am in love with this.
Thank you Darryl! ❄️😊❄️
Beautiful!
Wow!
Cool blue shrimp in the tank with the fish. A nice touch to the tank. You never cease to amaze me with your decorative skills. Excellent!!!
So kewl! 😍
You should make a life sized version ✌️
@thesmallscape Ha! How about you and Jason take a ride out to my place this summer, and YOU make a life-size version of that because my scaping abilities are roughly what Jason's were fifteen years ago. 😆😆😆
@@Whips_World that would be epic! 😂
@thesmallscape I'm not gonna lie, I have Crystal's tank almost ready to be set up (a 90) in the living room for all to see and it needs someone who will do more than stack wood and rock in the middle of the footprint and call it good 😆 Of course, as the flowerhorn grows, it may decide to redecorate, but it should look good for a minute or 47, don't ya think? 😁
Love it! I knew there would be buce involved!
🥳
Super creative! Very inspiring!
Thank you, Ruth! 😊
The final creation is just amazing. I am captivated and inspired. I now know what I'm going to do with my "blank tank!"
That is elegant!
Thank you so much! ☺️
I wondered how you'd make this work without being gimmicky, but I really like it. Once you finished the hardscape, I started thinking to myself about how I'd plant something similar, and came up with that coral wood, which only seems to be available at PetSmart and really does look remarkably like little trees, with Christmas moss attached to the tiny branches. For shrimp, maybe jade green or red rili, or both. Yours looks a lot more plausible, of course, but the whole Christmas colors thing is just too tempting for me to resist.
awesome and amazingly creative !!!
Thank you so much, Chris! 😀
Wow! Caught your video early. 4th to like.
very cute 🥰
Thank you 🤗
Love it
🩵😊❄️
I wonder if you could get underwater L.E.D. lights for an extra Christmas look at Christmas time. That would be neat.
Oh yes! If I keep this running the whole year, I intend on changing for each season. You know I would add Christmas lights for sure! 🤗
Nicely creative. Good job with livestock and plant selection. The Zen look of the driftwood also is appealing. Thanks for sharing.
For cold water fish?Either way, I like it!
I thought on the rock on right of screen on top looks like a polar bear or am I losing it 😅
🤭cool !! even better! 😊
Awesome idea! Another beautiful scape! Love watching you and your channel. Thank you Joanna.
😊Thank you so much!😊
Where did you get your white gravel? PetSmart? PetCo? PetSupply Plus? Looks cool.
Hi Tom! White sand is old topfin from Petsmart (no longer sell), small gravel is called Ice White and large gravel is Stoney River - both also from Petsmart 😊
@@thesmallscape Thank you.
🤍🖤🤎💚💙💜
😆🙌🙌
I've been waiting for part 2, you do such beautiful shapes.
Thank you so much for awaiting the completion! 😊
I just don't understand how shrimp can be added to a new, unseasoned tank, even with the water additives.
Hi! Fritzyme 7 has live nitrifying bacteria which takes care of that. We also like to add some used, cycled filter media from existing tanks - which I did as well back by the air stone (but forgot to insert that clip). It can also be helpful to add plants or hard scaping elements from existing tanks that hold goodies on their surfaces - all of my buce was from a cycled tank. 😊
