Personally, I think there's should be another stat called Attack Range because I was caught offguard by Talulah's and Patriot S2's attack range on top of several Chapter 7-8 enemies, Leithanien Casters, Mansfield Casters, also sometimes Sarkaz Shamans.
There should, but obviously the devs don't want to tell us. I just usually try to pay attention to when an enemy first stops to attack. The range might always be a circle, but sometimes the radius makes it feel more like a diamond or a square. Like if two operators are side by side, sometimes the enemy will target the one NOT directly in front of them This is how I figured out that Free's shield burst had a 3 tile range that it checks before activating, so I was able to bait it before it reached my squad
@@Dr.Krezotexe Well yeah but the range of Reunion Casters are different to Leithanien Casters. Then Patriot and Jesselton changes range between phases. I have Schwarz for nearly 2 months now, her damage is unbelievable. Short cooldown high damage Speaking about Schwarz can you believe someone say Schwarz has a useless S3?
In my personal opinion, Schwarz is the most versatile sniper in the game. She is a boss killer thanks to her s3. She can buff snipers thanks to talent. She can be a debuffer thanks to her main talent and any skill (though s1 is best for debuffing since it has very good uptime and high chance to proc). She has very high damage and dps with s2 letting her take on even enemies with a fearsome combo of hp and def such as raptors or any kind of heavy defenders (except maybe lieutenants). She has short range which most people might look down on, but it is unbelievably useful in Darknights Memoir not to trigger the sentinels. Also, all of her skills have extremely good uptime compared to other operators in general. Only an imbecile that mindlessly follows tierlists without actually using operators would say her s3 is shit, or even worse, that Schwarz is not meta.

I think providing exact number really does not change that much. The stat rank and description seemed to always been enough for me. Most games does not even show bestiary. Plus it may not be too easy to give exact number. U/I and UX problem is a real problem. And any changes (including +10% from CM and any changes from CC) will require the engine to recalculate the number. It is simpler this way in both looks and programming standpoint. And it is much more realistic. You can calculate exact stat of your operators because they are there in the landship and is open to share their battle info with you. If you can have their medical record, you can also, with your own company's metrics, quantify their stats. But the enemy? The best you can do is approximate.
