I was in Blue Ridge Georgia 2 years ago and loved it. I've lived in big cities all my life, I'm ready to live in a smaller city. Blue Ridge is on my list!
You missed the swing bridge very worthwhile short hike. There are other very impressive falls and trails. We moved from Fla to Blue Ridge about 16 months ago love it !
Me too, been looking at blue ridge area for relocation. I'm getting tired of city madness. Seeking, tranquility, fresh air, flowing water, trails of adventure. Not forgetting great views n a sense of country life again.
Things tourists actually seem to do in Blue Ridge: 1. Drive r e a l l y s l o w l y (especially in the left lane on the highway). Speed up when a local tries to pass, then roll their BMW/SUV into a ditch. Good times for everyone! 2. Buy all the milk, eggs, and produce at Ingles and then let it rot b/c they're just going to eat out anyway. 3. Drunkenly scream "woo hoo!" all night like they don't care that the moldy kit "cabin" they rented from a cheap flip company is in someone's actual neighborhood. 4. Wander into the road wherever they please and hold up traffic downtown. 5. Wear ski vests/jackets when it's 50+ degrees outside. What the heck is this? You're not in Aspen. 6. Get lost in the woods. Or anywhere, really. 7. Talk super loudly in public places so nobody else can enjoy a quiet evening out. 8. Decide to buy a "luxury" vacation cabin here, but refuse to negotiate according to the local market, wasting their own money and driving up prices so none of the service industry workers who cater to them can afford to live here.

My great grandfather used to own thousands of acres of landin this county, There are values that are instilled into the people that reside in these hills of Appalachia. Maybe consider the owner's opinion. And if it's okay or not for you too. Just wander in and out or open buildings walking in out of or. Clem trees or cut them down when all you're doing is renting a spec home. It's not even a cabin. Has so many lights that a 1000 people couldn't use, Anyway, I'm on a rent now. And I'm kind of getting angry. Just writing this comment. So I'm gonna end it now and say that if you do come to Blue Ridge on vacation or to visit, be respectful because. There's a lot of sacredness. To nature, especially when it's been untouched. There's a lother negativity that comes in.When it gets disturbed the weather it's been being disturbed and not for the proper reasons, anyway I'm not getting more frazzled so grow your own food and cherish something to be proud of
As a local myself, I couldn't agree more! Tourism has ruined Blue Ridge, and tourist tend to F-up everything for locals. Stay home, especially if you're from Florida as Floridians tend to be the absolute WORST!!!
Awesome video! God bless. Always remember that Jesus Christ loves you all so much! Jesus Christ forgives all sins. Jesus Christ is God, King, and Savior!❤🙏
It's a Farming town, with limited local housing jobs and if toy don't own land you'd be better off staying at the condo or big city where you come from, used to people had values and morals and consideration for their neighbours, heck!, most of them I'm related to. All the good attributes thst blue ridge still has are becoming more rare and even losing the appeal, because it is being destroyed by tourists or visitors,so just go hang out at the mall and pass us up or keep driving to Gatlinburg TN , there's actually a huge tourism industry that will be better accommodating for vacationers
What’s your point of comparing, people will prefer and enjoy what they prefer. Two different places with different amenities that appeal to different individuals.

Having been to Niagra... Come on man. Y'all got nothing on that shit.

I got family in buffalo...you cant swim in niagra....its allvabout what youre trying tobdo
@@H00v3r yes you can't swim in the Niagara falls....

@@neox9369 my point is Niagra is bigger better, and more magnificent than this. That's not an option that's an objective fact.
Blue Ridge is a nice area but not better than Niagara Falls. What's this guy smokin?
Some bad weed? Lmao.....lol
Niagara is great if you like crowded touristy areas. Blue Ridge is less populated and more layed back. I've been to both.
@@jaybo516 There is nothing like a beautiful waterfall in a wooded area. Niagara is too commercialized!
