We manglorian konkani called it as Same name Patrode .But ingredients is totally diffrent Our base masala is Coconut ,Red chilli ,Tamrind ,And Soaked Dal and grind it fine paste .Adding hing and Tadka of Rai ,Udid and Methi and apply over the patra patta and steam it .We belive we konkanis migrated from Sind valley thousands year and Lived in kashmir and after we moved to Brahmputra cosatal and afterwe settled down coastal kerala and Goa .So we belongs to GSB Brahmins ,Fish eater Brahmins ,For serviving we starts to eat Fishes .
