I miss the 70’s. We didn’t have to wear shoes to go places. I’ve been barefoot most of my life now. I never joined “the barefoot movement”. It’s just always what Ive preferred. I wore moccasins a lot to school. Rea moccasins without soles or inserts. Just leather, made by a Native American friend. Im 57 now and I’m barefoot about 98% of the time. I only wear shoes when I absolutely have to. My feet are great. No signs of bunions, like a lot of people I know. It’s healthy, good, and natural to be barefoot.
I read a person’s comment on another channel reviewing the shoe stating the price isn’t worth the materials (without even ever wearing them). Couldn’t be any further from truth. I tell you, these TYR shoes (I have drop0) are manufactured to last long and perform. Have used mine for hikes in mountains of Colombia, jagged limestones and beaches of Aruba, mountain biking, the gym, even sprints. They’ve been caked with mud, beach sand and salt water, each time I just hose them off and dry in the sun, still look like they were when I bought them. Best part are my feet are the last to fatigue. Wear with socks or they are difficult to remove

barefoot means also to free your toes. shoes = vice and blocking of toe mobility and calf muscles Best it is not only a thin sole, it is more to free the movement of the hole feet
Now only if they made a 0 drop shoe in extra wide, I wear a size 13 5E shoe, have might right ankle fused and I supinate, very hard for me to find a shoe that is overall best for me but find that a 0 drop shoe is better than anything I can find or tried.
I've kept my shitty $25 chinese parkour shoes for 7 years now. They are definitely falling apart now, but they have served me well with 0 drop, thin soles, and wide toe box. Wish i could but them again, but i can't find them anymore. $150 is very expensive, but these actually don't look bad.
People complaining about the price clearly don’t know anything about barefoot shoes or other market options. They have to be very solidly built, perfectly seamed, because they bend, normal shoes don’t do that
Honestly, these shoes are not priced because they are more costly to make. The market is there and they will price it as high as possible, as long as there are people who pay for it.
yeah, maybe he should have stated his stakes in the business, but i think his channel speaks volumes. so, it's likely a good product, although out of reach for most of us.
Been wearing barefoot shoes 3 months now and I’ve been suffering badly with corns since wearing them, very painful, my podiatrist recommended against them
I love barefoot shoes. My problem, however, is the cost. With such a thin sole they wear out quickly but cost as much if not more. $150 for these is too much.
These companies charging more $ for less shoe is insane. What's more insane is that people will see this and pay 5x the money for less shoe that will certainly wear down faster.
Flip flops are dangerous because they slip off the foot easily and are easy to trip on. Though I don't think these barefoot shoes are as good as they claim. Just an overpriced product that probably hasn't even been tested
Considering the shoes have less materials than other shoes I don't see why they are more expensive. Until someone makes a decent barefoot shoe at a reasonable price I'll just do things barefoot.
tbf you aren’t paying for the material, youre paying for the design and low volume production, distribution. makes sense it costs 50% more than normal gym shoes

Nice shoes
Outside of winter when my garage is too cold, I am always barefoot when squatting and deadlifting
Extremely thin you say...well this could be a decent Motorsport/Simracing shoe then!
The algorithm really tring to understand my enthusiasm for feet
I like Vans

Finally an opinion on a shoe
I like em🤷♂️
please make a wide toe box basketball shoe!
The knees over toes guy ben patrick promotes something like this actually. Not sure if he makes it or sponsors it
i think Xero just released some recently actually
Now only if they made a 0 drop shoe in extra wide, I wear a size 13 5E shoe, have might right ankle fused and I supinate, very hard for me to find a shoe that is overall best for me but find that a 0 drop shoe is better than anything I can find or tried.
Thanks for sharing!
Recommendations for plantar fascitis?
They are attracting a market that will pay more, if they feel a product is that much better
He seems believable
That’s great, but how much do they cost?
Just get yourself some Whitin barefoot shoes for ~$40 USD. Super comfortable, wide toe box and zero drop.
Splays are way cheaper. I have several pairs. Theirs are under $100 usd and have all the same benefits.
My swim shoes: 🗿
Can we get some wide toe box socks. That would be awesome 🤩
Yes Please, no one seems to talk about the socks! I've got the right shoes but my feet always still smash together the wrong way in socks ☹️
Toe socks
@@evelyndashinjini makes toe socks
yeah, maybe he should have stated his stakes in the business, but i think his channel speaks volumes. so, it's likely a good product, although out of reach for most of us.
once those tech free shoes leave the vegan price range, i'll check them out.
That's why i prefer to workout barefoot 😂
Within shoes for 40$ on Amazon have worked great for me the last couple of years
"These are my favvourite barefoot shoes" 👁️👄👁️
Been wearing barefoot shoes 3 months now and I’ve been suffering badly with corns since wearing them, very painful, my podiatrist recommended against them
Listen to your doctor and not a youtube PT who cherrypics data, creates problems to sell his solutions, is not in sync woth research amd so on.
I love barefoot shoes. My problem, however, is the cost. With such a thin sole they wear out quickly but cost as much if not more. $150 for these is too much.
The barefoot shoes I have a wider toe box that these appear, but these look nice, although expensive 😅
Thanks barefoot for my iliotibial syndrom 😀..
They may be foot shaped from above but how stretchy if that vertically. My foot actually has volume in the forefoot and mid foot.
These companies charging more $ for less shoe is insane. What's more insane is that people will see this and pay 5x the money for less shoe that will certainly wear down faster.
Make some cute ones pls. Where are all the barefoot shoes that align with mainstream fashion
Don't forget that having a wider toe base means your feet aren't getting squished into a bunion shape either. ✌️✨️
issue with barefoot shoes is that they are more expensive than regular shoes
Check out saguaro bro
Do you have a video for people on their feet at work? Like nurses, restaurant workers, etc.
You are over thinking this. Aldi has good flat shoes for sale every once in a while for like 20 dollars.
My barefoot is the best barefoot. I’d say it’s 99% as good as walking barefoot. Luckily it’s a home gym so I don’t need anything else
Its funny that barefoot shoes are amazing for your feet, but yet flip flops that are basically barefoot shoes doctors say are bad for your feet .
Flip flops are dangerous because they slip off the foot easily and are easy to trip on. Though I don't think these barefoot shoes are as good as they claim. Just an overpriced product that probably hasn't even been tested
My favourite "bare foot shoes" are my socks.
