He polished his game a LOT these couple years. Really toned down on all the middys and now uses his handles to get mostly to 3s and layups. Him and PG are the ultimate modern forward.
JT doesnt move as smooth as kobe or tmac. He's a little stiffer, especially when he drives. Nevertheless, i still like JT's style, it's familiar but unique at the same time.
This is what I was thinking of, too. He doesn't overextend his hands when dribbling and his body looks stiff. His release is even a bit late. However, somehow everything works for him. Goes to show that with enough skill, you don't have to be as fast as Kyrie or other quick guards to break down defenders (just like Luka).

Most these defenders really are doing a good job Tatum is slick and quick, it’s bogus to have to guard him😂
