I’ve got a Royal flair coming. But still not sure on the slide out kitchen OR slide out Webber. What’s your thoughts. Thanks for your video it was helpful
Thanks so much for answering my other question I changed my pull out kitchen to a bbq I noticed you had a control rider suspension. I have the Taurflex suspension coming. They reckon control rider is 100kg heavier. But I tight on weight. Do you think the taurflex is okay or would you highly rate control rider. I will be off-road a bit and I’m getting them to install a flat floor and lifting it about 10inches. Thankyou
Hey mate, I only have limited experience with the torflex suspension and couldn’t really compare. From just what I have seen the big difference would maybe be the amount of travel and maybe the strength.
Sorry for late reply we got absolutely no dust at all in the van. Combination of the fibreglass composite exterior and the Carafan Sahara (positive pressure system)
Cel fi in the car and van. Wow. Do you think the car one is needed, thinking just the van so we have internet and don’t have aux battery in the car so probably can’t do it anyway.
We work whilst on the road and sometimes we were off grid I drive to get reception if I have calls. So both not necessary for most people, but we will be getting both in the new setup.
Please educate me here ….. I just don’t get this trend for dark coloured boxes on wheels. Or dark coloured cars for that matter. I understand it may be desirable if you are spending all your time in the southern states during winter, but when I go anywhere warm, I want to be in something that reflects the heat …ie white or close to white. Put your hand on a dark coloured car and a white car even in winter sun, and there is a huge difference in temp. That difference has to translate into fridge and aircon working harder and therefore more power draw during off grid use! Added to that, white always looks cleaner even when dirty!
We decided to put the black wrap as we personally like it! Having both the black and light silver colour we personally did not find much difference between the two. We do not spend loads of time inside the van and when we do the power supply is enough to run the air con for a couple of hours and the vans overnight so wasn't a huge issue. In terms of showing the dirt! We hardly clean the external so have no issues with a dirty van Thanks for comment and enjoy your day
What’s the van overall height difference between the airbags up and down? Looking at getting airbags to allow the van to get into my carport so was just curious about overall van height.

If we had time again (which we do haha) we are removing outdoor kitchen and just having weber slide. Less weight and we Neve use sink.

Hi how much dust do you get inside? Does the back window let a lot in?

I don’t know the actual travel measurement and we have since sold but would estimate around 200mm as a rough guess.
Great explanation
Thanks
How much did your van end up setting you back?
Hey Nick it would be around the $150k mark after everything
Love the fold down table that clips on the van guys - is that a factory thing Royal Flair do or did you get that somewhere else??
Heya! It was originally to go on the car and Nathan is trying to remember where he got it. BTA he purchased it from.
@@freetoexplore Hi Guys who/what is BTA, I'm keen to buy one.
@@jeffo6120 did you end up finding one I need one of these asap
I wish there were more vans that had bigger beds for teens lol. I have a very big 13 yo who is growing like a weed lol. Thanks for the share.
It’s crazy how quick they grow! Can’t wait to show you the new rig and beds it has in it for the kids. They are SO excited!
